    Cthulhu work in progress

Hi guys, I'm new here, have been lurking in the shadows for some days, but I finally decided to contribute.

I'm an amateur, I don't really have much experience, I have never been in an art or drawing class, and I can not in anyway compete with the wonderful artists this forum has. But I am willing to put all from me to improve and learn the rules, and if I'm able, help anyone I can.

Well, let's get right to business, this is a piece I've been working for about 3 weeks now, mostly because I alternate it between school an other pieces. I inted to make colored lineless one at the end, but I would like to have a really good sketch to work with first, so I'm open to critics, let them come. Also if this is in the wrong section, I highly apologize, I still don't quite get where to post...

That would be all for now, I thank you taking your time in advance, and ask you to forgive my english if I misspelled something or didn't make much sense.

Welcome to CA. Not bad draftsmanship, but he needs to look more aquatic, it seems to me. Not keen on the extra eyes either, but it's your design...

Your lines are real nice. I'm not too sure how I feel about that arm, though. It's looking a little too Piccolo-esque right now. I bet some texture would change that.

Thank you for your coments. It indeed needs to look more acuatic, I think I'll add some algaes and coral like structure growing from his body, also some kind of membrane between his fingers.

About the arm, you are the second person to say is piccoroish, so I guess it is xD, I'll try to ad more detail and texture as you said. I'll soon update the changes, thanks again for taking the time to critic.
