    Cintiq Color Problem

Hi all, I'm having a problem with my cintiq and was wondering if anyone may know a fix for this. I'm using a Cintiq 21UX and my screen went blue- like tinted blue although my other monitor is running on normal colors. I've uninstalled my drivers and reinstalled them but the problem persists. I've rebooted and used all the tricks I know including switching USB ports.

    Any advice?

i don't know about 21 cintiq so i try to guess. in 12wx cintiq u have options of the actual tft display and u can select color temperature, look into it and select 6500K. for example 5000K will make your screen redish, 7000K bluesh.

After a little more checking it looks like a video card issue and not the cintiq itself. I'll have to beat my brains over it a little while longer. : (

    Thanks for the help Teho.

I tried that after a lot of researching and non of the pins were bent. As it stands, I think the video card may be bad and rather than put a lot of money into a new one I'm going to bite the bullet and get a new computer. Oy.

I know this is an old post, but I am having the same problem at my school. I have a one year old Pavilion dv6 from HP and whenever I plug in to the Cintiq 21ux I get a blue tint over the cintiq screen, yet my main computer's monitor is fine.

So it looks as though you had to buy a new graphics card...was that the problem?

    Thanks!
