Hello all here is my pizard concept sketch. I will follow up with the actual sculpture as well. I welcome all and any to share.

Here, I have attached the armature to the board using some midget one hole clamps.

Here, I needed to add some extra support for all the wieght that was beginning to cause me a little trouble. So i decided to go through the elbow to balance the sculpture. I know it looks messy, but I have a solution for that.

Quite funny actually - and wow what a pose you have chosen. (or being forced into by your teacher - or whatever).
It is nice to get a glimpse of your surroundings - but the photos might be slightly better if you put up a quick piece of cardboard for a background.
Technically speaking, I guess his shoulders and upper arms should be more muscular if this is his favourite means of transportation.
I can see you lost the ears along the way - going for a more monstrous (and less funny) look. In my opinion (which you can disregard ;-) the long ears would have complementet the arms and legs in a nice way, and could have made the impression of "moving" or "tumbling" stronger.
What is the class you are currently doing?

Thanks Aseyngel. I think the pose should always be dynamic when creating a sculpture. It's actually pretty funny you mention the arms and the back ground. I'll get to the background in a minute as for the arms. The idea came from watching Popeye. So i thought, what if there was a creature with large forearms like Popeye but traveled on his hands? Would his strength be more in the upper back and shoulders or will the concentration of power be focused in its forearms? So I figure what the heck I'll create it and get some feed back. The ears, yeah, I was going to put them on but someone said it looked to playful, so I changed them at the last minute. The class called Sculpture for Animators, now here is the kicker "I am the teacher." About the background, I just posted that very tip on my forum telling my student to do that very thing you mentioned to me Fine example I'm setting. Thanks again dude.

LOL - remember the teacher can allways bluff as long as the students doesnt realize it.

I get the popeye idea - And critique put aside - I believe you have made a really funny and dynamic little piece here.

Thanks Again Aseyngel. LOL and always bluffing. As a matter of fact I have a few student that post to this site. But if you want to see more, I do have a forum linked to my website and I am encouraging my student to post their work. Now the forum is a little less than a month old and in its experimental stages, but I expect it to grow within the next few months. Here is the link. Plus I love for people to critique my work. Oh - are we allowed to mercifully hunt this artist down untill he provides us with pictures a painted model? Great, I wasnt aware of that! ;-)
