So, I've been going through sketchbooks like mad :o (Sorry if I haven't left a note!)
Here's some stuff that was inspired by another concept org artist. (Sorry, I forgot the name - If I find it i'll post it! Hope you don't mind!)

great stuff! You have a very fluid style![]()

The first of your sketches were amazing! And so much that it took me awhile to look through it.But I get worry, I understand it's a sketch book but your newer sketches feel abit lacking in the same passion as the first ones. Either way keep up the awesome sketches!

Hey Ephelea nice update. Its good to see what you've been doing. My favourite is the head turned in different positions. There's a really nice flow with your lines in them. Hope we get to see more from you soon.![]()
So, I'm continuing on in my working with sketching. I try to keep myself to sketch at least a little. everyday. Even if it's just doodles. Music usually helps too.
These are all studies from photos.

Hello Ephelea
I can't really fault your work, it's pretty good so far.
What I could say though is perhaps let's see some male studies.
Also, you could try cleaning up stray lines and construction lines perhaps, that could help for presenting to clients and for industry though, just a thought.
There is something else but I can't remember what it was now.
In any case, let's see more-ish!!
Keep well.
Edward
Some studies, before I go make chocolate chip cookies for the kids I babysit to bake tomorrow - for santa, of course! Happy Holidays!![]()

Bridgman studiesI got 5 books for christmas, from my mom - who has been amazingly supportive and I thoroughly appreciate it.
I took it upon myself to keep searching for more books (anatomy, digital painting..etc.) after looking at some of the things people have said in the sketchbooks here on CA. I want to better myself, and am more than happy to receive any, and all critique.
(not sure how I got a repeat attachment :o interesting!)

Hiya Ephelea!
Some decent study work here, if I were to give you some advice then it would likely be to try to keep your pencil a bit sharper for the lines which are closer to us. Overall the work appears a bit on the blurry side for me, but it's still reasonable because of the relative contrast between lines.
I suppose the other bit of advice is just to keep doing what you're doing. =)
Keep well.
Edward
Hi Ephelea, so glad to hear you got books for Christmas. They are a great gift and I bet your Mum is really pleased to see how much drawing you've done from them already. Well done for being so motivated![]()
Kungfoo: actually, I switch between pencils quite often. I don't care for extremely sharp ones when studying or sketching, I just go with whatever I grab. Lately, 6b and 7b's so I can't erase and I have to just keep pushing forward. But I do thank you, for the comments and the advice. And the encouragement.
Marian: Thank you as well, pleasure to see you here again![]()

HAHA YER FIGURES AN STUDIeS RRRRRRROOOOOOOOOCCCKKKKKKKKKK AN I DIG YER AVATAR KEEP W/ THE GOODS
Really dig your bones studies. I think though maybe you could use a tiny weeny bit more confidence in some of your line work. Life drawing studies help a lot. Especially timed ones. Keep it up!
Granny, in keeping with tradition "NO U ROOOOOCKKKKKKK!!! " but otherwords, ty sir. I appreciate the encouragement.
Greywoods, Thanks. I agree that some of my lines and work seem less confident than the others. I've been told that before. I had a friend who was an animation student who studied with some other gentlemen, and we used to hang out after work at a coffee shop. And he'd tell me to just do quick strokes, and stop being afraid that they'd be wrong. lol.

Here's some of the stuff I've been doing, along with some collabs from Armani. lol. Nerdtastic!
