    Dragyri Whisper

Hello again everyone! This is Glenn Israel, aka delo, and here's a pic from the project I've been attached to for awhile now; it's essentially a tabletop miniatures wargame based, often loosely, on the artwork of Brom. This particular pic is a wholly original concept for a Dragyri female, from a mammalian race with reptilian tendencies and an Asian-derivative warrior culture. The specifications called for something somewhat slight yet sexy, so I opted for the physique and posture of a gymnast, weapons of the near East, a variation off a traditional Japanese hairstyle, and some Brom tatters for clothing. I have more illustrations in this particular class that I will post here as they become public.
    ;-)

    Amazing!

    They are looking great...very clean...

I like the hairstyle and her face...

How did you draw the back view???

It looks as if you just flip the front view...

Looks good. Brom's characters can be very dark and vindictive sometimes.

As a drawing, there is something strange going on with the creature's left hand fingers (probably wouldn't even be noticeable at a 25mm miniature level). And the buttcloth seems to be at an odd angle, but that might be to indicate movement.

As a miniature, the two little bits hanging from the arms might break off or get bent. I used to collect alot of Ral Partha stuff, and I recently moved and found them and the vast majority of the figures that had skinny areas protruding off of them were bent or broken altogether.

Still a nice sketch. Thanks for sharing and keep em coming!

    Thanks everyone ;-)

What may seem odd about the hands might be one of two things: the Dragyri only have two fingers and a thumb per hand, and in this view the crystals near the chakram handles tend to obscure or muddy some of the details. This obviously would be clearer in color; unfortunately, I haven't had the time to do any of my own color work (the company contracts that out while I generate other elevations for miniatures).

And, yes, the cloth is meant to indicate motion. . . but it's faked a bit. You caught me ;-)

you captured the sexiness of it in those legs... especially the 'scaley' bit on the side of her thighs near her hips.

    Delo in the house!

We have a bet going here at Ritual......... How do you get the front and back views so exact? Flawless.

The fluidity of the pose is great. I wish I could get that kind of motion in my drawings.

    Keep em coming.
