...eeehhhh...I really have to disagree here. The final piece is head and shoulders above the sketch. The nearly perfect vertical balance of the white sink, contained figure and white blocks on the rug is an incredibly effective use of composition that really slams our attention to the situation/environment in two or three visual "stages" rather than seeing the model first (and above all else) and then forcing oneself to look away from her to other areas. IMHO, this is a near-perfect painting.
