Haha, it feels like I'm really spamming your sketchbook, but I can't stop my fingers from doing that, sorry! I love the last update. Bad pencilwork? You must be kidding! Your lines are simply amazing! Very clean and as towy said, really dynamic.

Du är produktiv ser jag, väldigt bra. Du skulle inte kunna dela med dig av din energi? Behöver lite tror jag.

    Rushlord -Woa! thanks man

Mokinzi - Thank you very much. Jeg forstår norsk. Jeg vokset op der da jeg var baby, men er ikke serlig flink till å skrive det you bear with me..

Conte - Thanks you! mm yeah..

Towy - Thanks! glad you like them.

Retardedmonkey - I want to agree haha, thanks.

Spaggen - Allways glad to see you drop by mate! I hope art is working out for you now!

Allright, I do have a policy of not posting without attaching some work. But yea I'll make an excpetion. Firstly I got my new Laptop today it's like christmas a few months too early.. configuring it and stuff.. will install the tablet later and see how much better the experience is.
I also have an exam on friday so updates will be scarce this week. Thanks for dropping by, really brings some heat into these cool autumn days.

MischeviousLittleElf - thanks man! glad you think so.

    kickflipjohny - Thanks you!

My sincere apologies... I got a cold last friday and didnt have the energy to do any art. Im well again, and have been playing around with my new laptop and DAMN! it IS SWEET. The workflow I have now is 1000 better.. byebye render lag. Oh yeah, I'll definitely be bringing some improved stuff now.

I wanna start with some new dragons, 7 different designs, more illustrative than the earlier. Here's a Dragon inspried by koifish.
More to come! I notice the canvas is really squeezing it, that will be fixed.

    Thanks all! no more hiatus

I'm speechless; your style is ridiculous. The sketchiness is awesome. I was going to ask you if you could upload that brush you used in the last painting for us...but I don't think I will...what was that? I just did?

    ...complete accident, honestly...

drd - haha thanks man! I'll upload it tommorow. It's a watercolour kinda brush I downloaded, cant remember from where.

Allright, sorry for not updating for so long.. this week has really killed me. Not with work and such, but just a general overlaying sense of hopelessness and anxiety. I guess I'm starting to have some sort of depression.. hell no, gonna paint it away. Bear with me.. there are many things I want to show you - this will have to do for now.
COW sketch, charactersketches for a mousewarrior, rendered version of mentioned mousewarrior im doing for a lovely friend of mine, it's size A3 so I had to piece it together from several pieces of scan.
And some life studies, Will pick up the beautiful female studies too

    hope to see you soon

    Hey ho!

    Kingkostas - thanks mate

    Spaggen - thank you man!

Allright, still rendering my mouse.. negelcting art a bit, taking a small break. However, this week is so much better than last week so I am hopeful.
A good conversation with some friends really can lift your spirit skyhigh.

Here's a quick doodle, DSG 1513 - Kaya and her Crazy Dinosaur, about 1 and a half hours work. Recently I've been checking some of bumskee's awesome work, aswell as some other similar artistworks when it comes to combination of colour... I dont know how they do it, but damn im gonna find out! so this is an attempt to work with colour in a new way for me.
    No ref.

I love your lines: They're always full of action and emotion it seems. The mouse ones are a prime example. Whoever you're making it for is a very lucky person! Love the dino one too. Very different from your norm.

    HELLO FRIEND!

Awesome updates the past bit, as usual! I hope your first year of uni is super fun and not sucking up a ton of art time (it doesn't seem to be, which is awesome!)

Your life drawings are really interesting. When I see them, my brain says "they shouldn't be so scratchy, you should be using less tiny strokes, and more sweeping long ones'. A few other people have posted things to that effect. But it almost appears like you're 'scanning' over what you're observing and plotting out the form. Sure, as drawings, they don't read incredibly well (they're still nice), but the scratchiness adds a bit of confusion to them. However, if these are studies, and drawing in that manner helps you better understand anatomy, do it. Be sure you're capable of life drawing in a 'cleaner' way, sure. But if many quick, short strokes helps you to analyze, keep it up.

The colours on your Oct 5th post are beautiful and I hope you'll be taking it further.

Also I find your pencil work to be quite nice (especially the stuff on page 6 that you apologized for ). The rendering is solid and shows quite a bit of patience. Maybe you could stand to adjust the levels on your scans a bit in Photoshop, just to make them read better. It seems a lot of information is getting lost in there.

Throwing out a random challenge for you, draw something delicate and graceful. You are GREAT at huge, scary, hulking beasts. Maybe you could try something totally different for fun, make something non threatening, beautiful, fragile, etc.

It's always wonderful to see the art you're producing here. Looking forward to more updates! Keep up the hard work!!

Pixie Trix - Thanks, yes different. I like fooling around too

    Cl0aked - Thank you!

    aefx
    - thanks! glad you like it!

JailHouseRock2 - Thanks for the stars

Ryn - But it is sucking up a lot of time! havn't painted in like 2 weeks! Thank you, I will try to scratch less and caress more. When it comes to lifedrawings I don't really know what I am doing, though it is as you say, I kinda "scan" the modell, and draw from a chosen point, comparing negative space instead of building him with blocks etc.

Thanks Ryn, delicate and sensual stuff coming up haha, it's really something I need now ^^

Thanks all! It's been dead here for a while and you still drop by! awesome! thanks!
I want to do art again.
warmup.. Cow sketches, Sketching in Photoshop is so hard, will make some more the traditional way, hope to bring lots of stuff now that I am back from my damn hiatus

    - haha thanks! I was trying some other colouringmethod there

Nailed the look I was after for the COW.. this sketch is based upon the two other sketches I did further up, with a sharkinspired head and a humanoid body. These 'fish-men' can walk on two legs aswell as four legs. More to come.

I'm so glad that you're back and updating mate. The fish-men looks really nice, great design. It's something with your lines that makes your style unique. I don't know exactly what it is but they are just really dynamic and alive.

I just saw your mouse warrior, and I was wondering if it was "Mouse Guard" inspired? The style is dead on (so much so that I am wondering if he isn't the "friend" that you mentioned), and I have to praise anyone that is spreading the influence of David Petersen's beautiful work.

    Kingkostas - Thanks mate!

Goat27 - I am honored! Yes it is mouse guard inspired, my friend requested a picture of a mouse called Celanawe.. to be honest, I had never heard of the comic before so I did some research. I'm really glad to hear that it is close to the original style.
I have yet to read it, though it looks like a great story, will have to see if I can get it somewhere here in sweden.

Just a minor update on the cow. I'll be away for the weekend so no updates in a few days.
