Thanks. Its always an up and down. Tho you must know i post here random works, some if brand new, most is older, some from up to 10 years ago.

There are longer periods when i hardy have time to paint anything private, so when doing lots of jobs for clients, not every job is super exciting, mostly you get told what they need in detail. Pics from such periods tend to be rather ... casual, less crazy or simply boring.
Also depends on my mood a lot and the style i want to use, cartoony, or maybe feel like doing something more realistic. Some scribbles are made are about composition, some just color studies, some have no motive at all.

First off, thanks for the background story! I really enjoyed reading it. At least you knew what you wanted from young. I wasted YEARS! Your quick sketches and such are ridiculous, lol. But I know what you mean. If you can get things right the first time, then it will take less time overall...and since you've been at it forever, I guess thats why.

Ohh, I went over to your secret agent thread. Man....I need a mentor like you (im not joking), haha. Just all the thoughts that went into planning your scene, then the high quality finish. Studies never hurt imo, i would do more if i had the time, but to much of the same might keep you from other things. If you feel like you do to many studies, try to make more finished paintings.

Right now, all I have is the Samurai Champloo OST. Its epic, but i've listened to it like 50 trillion times. I guess manga can get you into some hard traps, but I think it also adds a nice flair to your work. If you check out the site Pixiv.net, you see how those guys do it on another level. But then I guess that just goes hand in hand with the old "if it looks right, it IS right" saying.....

Samurai Chapmloo was a nice ova, was good to see the olf flair of the people who also worked on Lupin. Most other series are great too, Cowboy Bebop and so on...
There is nothing wrong with manga, i LOVE that style but IMo its not a good way starting out with that, its a very stylized style and most kids don't actually understand what they try to draw, all they do is memorizing strokes their fav artist did.
Its always good to start with realism and later you can stylize all you want.

You can post here as much as you like, i dont mind at all.

Gonna check out that side, i had a quick pick, i hope there lots of nice boobies.

the babe on the bike looks stunning, i'm not a fan xxl boobs but in this case i'll have to make an exception. the russian vampire hunter looks great, their faces look a bit green though, maybe it's just me. draw some more boobies that aught to lighten you up

You seem to do that double image thing in a few images. How do u do that? Is it just copying the whole thing then moving it slightly, and lowering opacity? It looks clear on yours....bahh, im confused.

I double some layer, distort the image and then erase parts i dont want.

In some images i paint the double effect, no copy paste, that looks different tho and has a different purpose. here an example
