Oh no ! I see theres another online streaming !
Now we have to wait another months !
No need to become sarcasticThe judging is being worked on as we speak so please have just a little more patience.
By the way, it would be great if people would use the attachment manager in the finals thread, it seems some images have already disappeared in there which is a bit of a shame really.

Hi Jason:
Just wondering how the contest came out. I've been waiting to hear who the winners are and if my picture placed. Please let me know. Thanks.
And thanks for putting on this contest. It really motivated me to think outside the box.
ReelNuts: Please read up a few posts![]()

i'm with the guys above...i know for sure that i'm not placing at all in this competition...but i 'd still like to know who won...

You have til midnight Sunday. You can do it. Can't you?![]()
I'm getting deplorably anxious about the contest results. Probably because I have delusions of actually winning a regional prize. *is quite insane*
*performs personality switch*
GIEF EPIC TABL3TZ0RZ, NA0! XD
...I just want to see the winners.....
I wonder how many people are like me and have this forum auto their email box and think when they get an update to a thread here think " This may be the one!?" Rofl
I get a pop up on my MSN telling me I have mail from here and go "Oh boy..." and then "Fail" :3
Anyway...
It is great to see that so many people are wanting to see how things turn out, even people that didn't enterIt is wonderful to have that much support for fellow artists. The longer it takes the more I think this can go any way and you just never know.

LillyCat< I am in the same situation than you...each times I think it is the results!
ArtistCaleb< I am agree with you!
Congratulation RANDIS!!
I have other favorites but I think Randis did the best things!
Thirded..... I loved the Diver pic best of all ^_^
hey guys, i deeply respect your views, but i remember reading that there will be a public choice vote system ,even if he doesn't win something...it's annoying to read who will win in advance, and whatever of randis image is the best and gonna win...
Just a couple of days left in September....perhaps we'll hear by the end of the month? I'm just hoping there'll be some notification as I really don't get around to checking this thread all too often....still super interested in the outcome.
I think it's interesting to note that Imagine FX just had a challenge for the cover of their 50th magazine. They picked the winner within a couple of days of the contests' end, but then again a lot fewer people probably participated in that than this. That's not really my point though- just that there was a separate cover contest being held by Imagine FX. I really wonder if the original idea Conceptart had was for the results of this contest were meant to go on the cover of the 50th issue and that fell through? Something tells me that I don't think it's CA.org that's delaying things. They got the hook up through a lot of different other companies, maybe one of them bailed out and they are looking for a replacement prize.
Dunno, just thinking outside the box.
Hey CharReed,
Thanks for the heads up that IFX have picked a winner. Missed that post. They won't be announcing it until October sometime though. The majority of us will have to wait until the 20th when the mag hits the stands, or a few days before when the subscription ones come through to hear the results. Great that they informed us that they'd chosen though.
I think most of the frustration here seems to come from the redio silence about progress or lack of it. Reckon you are bang on about the delay most likely being related to the collaborating sponsors. It was always likely to be a juggling act to keep all of them happy. I can imagine some very heated debates generated by the different corporate stand points. Like walking a tightrope stretched between two jellies on rollerskates.

If it's the case that there is a problem with a sponsor, CA.org may legally not allowed to say something. Could be complicated. Most likely it is or else otherwise we'd probably know what's up.
NNyargghhh!!! I can't wait any longer!! *head explodes*

As I already mentioned earlier, the judging is being worked on. There will be an update on this contest within the next few days for sure. As far as I'm aware, there is no problem with any of the sponsors at all at the moment.
The biggest factor in the delay is having to process 350+ emails and attached images, so please bear with us for just a short while![]()

Could you reach deep down and just honestly tell us why the delay? The deadline was long ago, people are complaining and the only updates we receive are "soon".
Is it that other things are taking up your time?
Is it that there is mass debate over the winner and you guys are deliberating daily?
Is it being swept under the rug?
Is it problems with the forum software and the difficulty of gathering finals?
Is it that someone is falling short of their responsibility and giving the old "if I just had more time" excuse?
If there were print-outs of all the entries on one table, I think a few judges could come to a top three in a matter of hours. A or B... A or B....
I'm guilty of most of the procrastinations above so I'm not coming down on anyone, I just wish that the reason for the delay would honestly be divulged to all those who worked so hard to produce an entry. People will respect you a great deal and be a bit more patient if they simply know "why".
And just because it's so awesome I'll include this:![]()
