    Thanks for the crit Zirngibism! Yea, I probably did pump the colors a bit much. I have a hard time know how far to go because My monitor isn't calibrated and when I see work on different monitors it always looks washed out... And for sure there ought to be some lights on the ouside buildings giving some warmth to the cool. Just oversimplified a bit.

    I really liked your piece- interesting perspective and concept. There are a couple of things I noticed that could make it stronger... There's a nasty tanget where the extreme foregroound is meeting the main platform- either push it all the way under, or move it more toward the center of the comp. The other thing I'd like to see you try is unify the pallete a little more.. See what you can do with fewer colors (not monochromatic- just harmonious). Look at a frame from a movie and notice that there usually aren't a whole lot of colors- just a warm/cool relationship among a few.

    this round was incredible, every single artist here did awesome you should be so proud,,,really really nice work everyone wow, ill have to try doing these eows, inspiring stuff, i can see why this is multi vote because it would be impossible to just pick one...

    side note, nichols monkey island,,, haha that is too coolyour painting could definitely be a backdrop for that game
