All seven of the three stooges - the description alone should stump most of them!

Or if you want to be really mean, all seven of the three stooges playing Australian rules football against Transformers

Okay, people...we're gonna try to go to poll on the topics quickly (say, Tuesday night, if alesoun agrees) so we can get the topic set up and this thing started.

Make any prefs of any suggestions already made known NOW, or add in whatever you think might be an additional good suggestion. I'll put up a poll with the best possibilities from an artistic/challenge view and we'll all vote for 4-5 days to get the final topic.

I'd say they should do a movie-style poster (think like Drew Struzan style) of the manliest movie that has ever existed---giant bosoms, chainsaws, blood and vikings (with the optional pirate or ancient jungle relic) thrown in for good measure.

    that or Batman.

Yeah, but then they would make a whole bunch of awesome pictures by default.

Why not "Teenage Boy Fantasy". They'll never get that one right! Im with the Power idea as well, perhaps let them design a military propaganda poster? Hell, even i would hate working on that idea.

Once again I'm picking my favorite of everybodies ideas "Shark Puncher" "Drew Struzan" "7 0f the 3 stooges" and "propaganda", but my favorite is "The Neighborhood Bully"

Remember to think of what we can pull out of the aesthetics and them broads can't.

my new suggestion going back to rustikof's post is "Sploitation Cover"

I don't think I'm participating, but the "vikings" idea got me thinking. Vikings would be way too specific, so my suggestion would be:

    Raiders

Manly enough that images of marauding barbarians comes to mind, but open enough that they could depict boys on a panty raid, unicorns surprise attacking a narwhal caravan, stuff like that

    ^good one.

some kid playing with his father
    witch trial
    homeless person
    first settlers.
    negotiation

    p.s.:ostrander,some damn good ones aswell.

p.p.s.: the men's calendar was never about competiton with the females. also, the initial idea was to show what men think is sexy in other men. there was a great deal of confusion and pretty much nonexistant organisation though.

Good suggestions...I especially like the one with all 7 of the Three Stooges. Okay, a few more that I thought of:

    Nose-picking competition.
World of Warcraft style warriors (with big muscles, swords, guns, and armor).
    Motorcycles and hot rods.
Big ugly alien slobbering over half-naked woman.

Just got back from weekend excursions. And I totally understand about my suggestion. It is not something to be proud of...i was just thinking of as the topic stated something quite scary for the women to portray. And testing the line was necessary at least for me so that I can understand where we are truly going with this. I went to "fine" arts school for college so themes like that(S&M, rape, etc) were running rampant throughout the studios. My apologies to any ladies offended. Not my intention at all.

and buck thanks for the clear up.

Alright, guys. We have 146 suggestions ranging from ridiculous to sublime, and I'd like to get it down to around forty or so by Tuesday afternoon so I can put up a poll for a final vote.

The one's that got more than one mention (including my own when I saw them but didn't post) have the additional "votes" after the item as a (•). (I did eliminate a few that were duplicating or didn't seem like they would be interesting enough for the chicks to attack.)

The best way to do this is just post your favorites, maybe four or five) from the above by listing just their numbers to make it easier for me to collate.

I really believe that we should hit them with something both EXTREMELY difficult for ANYBODY to do well and something that could make a nice portfolio piece, so please keep that in mind when you go through the list. If it scares you, it WILL scare them. If you'd be proud to show it, then it would be something that they'd really want to try.
