Here are some overlays, basically the assignment was to go over the quick sketch figures with tracing paper and block in the shapes. = )
Quick sketch Figures
Kinda had a frustrating time in class today I practiced so much in between classes but when it came to the actual class I got stiff... Guess it just happens sometimes.
you sure have a great potential, just keep it up. Love your quick sketch figures.
The still life looks pretty good, though all the objects appear to be made of the same material. Of course, that might be the case, hehe.
Love the lines on the girl. I can't wait to see this progress!
Attempt at landscape painting in oil. I've honestly never really painting with oils before, I dunno why it just seemed expensive and somewhat of a hassle but I have to admit now that I doing it I am falling in love! I really am wanting to do a self portrait in oil, hopefully I have some time later tonight to start that! = D
A more or less finished barque copy and a more or less not finished one!
Getting sharper and sharper. good on ya.. go enjoy d sketching session.. slowly but surely u getting there..
Alright well I'm not really happy with this and I know it has a lot of issues but since this was today's project.
This is an assignment for an illustration class I'm currently in. Basically you have to take a fairytale or nursery ryhme and alter it in some way. It's supposed to be done in a kids storybook like fashion Only allowed to you one color as an "accent". = D
Some work from today... sargent color study in oils that I started looking pretty crappy right now but if I fix a few things...lips...maybe and another random wip, dunno if anything will come of it at this point yet
Yesterdays workshop! Kinda creepy, not my usual kinda of stuff but it was fun to do. And the skeleton we were looking at was real...
I still have some work to do on both of these, which I'll do on Thursday! = D
Hey some really good stuff in here your studies are tight and i love the ants spraying the little people in the kitchen also really like your charcoal still life keep posting
The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all art and science.
You've posted a lot of great stuff since I last stopped by! I really like that blue skeleton, and the strong lines on this girl.
@Feil Magnus - Thanks! = )
@latigid - Thank u!
@Janos - Thanks so much for the input! Yea I'm defiantly trying to expand in any way I can so I'll look into your suggestions! = D
@Cacodaemonia - Thanks as always =)
@Eraiasu- Thanks! And yes Draw!!! = D
An update of the past couple of days finish of a sargent color study in oils which the camera didn't really pick up too well, it's not really "finished" per say but I don't think I'm going to work on it anymore meh...
Some quick sketches and some random colonial looking people! Which look kinda funky now that I'm seeing them smaller, o well I guess practice is practice. And other randomness = D
I told myself that I'm going to post the good and the bad of everything I do here. No one is perfect and we all have good as bad days. The point of this is to help motivate progression. Guess I'm mostly just talking to myself here or giving myself an out loud (sorta) confirmation that everything here does not have to be amazing. We all have to start somewhere and that is OK!
