More sketches... The woman was supposed to have highlights on her but my dumbass thought I could use a white charcoal for that....nope...now I can't erase the charcoal. Live and learn I guess. Photo ref. for that sketch was from John Tisbury.

Some quick figure studies and faces
Its been a while since Ive posted in here because Ive been busy getting out of the military and getting into school. I moved to austin TX and started at Gemini School of Visual Arts May 17th. The two drawings are from school. The kettle is still a WIP. Sorry about quality of the two drawings. The photos were taken from my phone.
Finished kettle and more work from school.
So I started painting in acrylics at school in mid september this is what I've done so far. Traditional painting is rough... The rest are sketches and WIPs
Been awhile since I posted anything...here is some stuff from the recent months.. The fruit bowl is acrylics on canvas.
That Venom is just awesome, great job!
I love these peeps.
I'll be honest in saying I'm not all that interested in your character stuff. They don't have much personality in general...not to be mean! But to be helpfulVenom is your most successful I think.
Your still lifes are looking very vibrant and lovely though! As are your pencil studies. I'd recommend pushing your midvalues though, right now they're looking a tad contrasty or washed out.

New painting finished today. Acrylics on canvas 16 X 24
The first is my first painting of human flesh. Acrylics on illo board 5X8. The colors are highly over saturated in the photo than they actually are. I will do higher quality photos at some point.
Next is a digital character design done for fun.
hey mate, lookin through your work, its quite clear your traiditional skills are amazingly strong, and definently overpower your digital pieces, i think the issue is your used to seeing the object your drawing at a specific eye level.
because almost all of your digital piece are in a similar pose to if you saw them standing still down the street.
a tough call though- still amazing work. its just my theory and im trying to help :]
New painting... Acylics on illo board and a father time concept for our school blog.
hot damn epic still lifes and studies!!
