just felt that it was so called "the right time" to start my own sketchbook.
Maybe this will motivate me to draw more, because i realised that i'm just a lazy dipshit who uses cheapass tricks to make my drawings look good

Okidoki, well let's start off with some that i did quite a while ago so that i can see my progression within this thread when i'll look back when i grow old ;p
I used the prefabricated towers in a brush set for a piece but i don't remember who's set it was, so it wasnt I who made them dunno if it's againts the rules, if it is i'll take it offline.

well i like the digital effects, its a good thing that u started a sb
i think u need to work more on traditional stuff, pencils, studies etc

thanks, i'll post my pencils sketches in a few minutes, i've got loads of them

edit: here r some pencil sketches that i did today( and a first time charcoal sketch), they're nothing fancy just some quick doodles.

the charcoal sketch was inspired by Jeroen Bosch (Here: “Hell” from the tryptich “Garden of delights”)

nice sketches here - varied and interesting. your latest faces though seem to portray the same features each time. i suppose its not an intentional series? let us see more varied characteristics

Thanks , i've been through your sketchbook and it was a feast for my eyes! really nice sketches you have going on there. yeah i noticed that my faces are starting to look more and more the same

guess i've got just one thing to do: study my ass of until it looks more diverse! thanks again for the crit

Do you see the proportion mistakes?For example the eyes are way to high.Try using some guide lines to put things in the right position.Other than that its nice and beautiful with nice calm colors

so finally able to post again, my copmuter died on me, but i found a nice replacement

here are some paintings i did the last few days, nothing really special but they were fun to do, some are still in wip fase

and a studie of sargent's Mme X.
pencils will come later on because i'm too lazy to scan them right now ..

dude, i'm seeing improvements in your art, i really like the way you use colour, i suck at that

your faces are starting to look more varied so you should continue to work on different kinds of faces, the women look nice, just keep working on'em,

I like that Madame X Sargent study!! My suggestion to you would be to do anatomy studies along with digital studies. Pick up a Bridgeman or Hogarth, from the library or bookstore and start doing studies out of your sketchbook. Like others have said it will level you up quickly!! Keep up the good work.
