Check out desktopography. They do an exhibition every year of awesome wallpapers. Some are hit and miss but they do have some real gems. They have 5 exhibitions of about 180 wallpapers total, all in different sizes for about any monitor size you're looking for.

Desktopography is great, there is another similar site but i forgot the name.

So many clean desktops i was expecting more desktops overwhelmed with files and folders.

I heard a story of a teacher that had like 1000 folders (one for every student for a couple of years) on his desktop and it took minutes
to refresh the screen also it was hypnotizing to watch the screen fill up and generate new layers of folders.
He used the search tool to find everything back

I'm into the minimalistic, and stylish, desktops. I change my wallpaper constantly. I am using Vista 64-bit with the Vista OSX '09 theme. I experimented with LiteStep and RainMeter for more simplicity, but I don't know much about CSS and scripts.

Rocketdock with Token icons(by brsev on dA). Icons in order are: C drive, Documents, Pictures, Art drive, Firefox, CCleaner, iTunes, Notepad, Photoshop, Word, and Trashcan. My Start Menu includes(yes, in alphabetical order ): Artrage, Dell Imaging Toolbox(for scanning), Disk Cleanup, Disk Defragmenter, Anti-Malware, Paint, Speedfan, Spybot, Spyware Blaster, Superantispyware, Terragen 2, UT3, UT3 Editor, and Warsow.

i like to make my own wallpapers... usually they're very dark, and generally pretty simple so that they're not a distraction. when i freelance i usually set my wallpaper to solid black.

Background was a rehash of some old work I did, rest was done using enigma/rainmeter. Still playing with the settings, working on so I can remove the windows taskbar and have the favorite apps mesh in with the custom bar right above.

The word ‘anarchy’ comes from the ancient Greek αναρχία in which αν meant ‘without’ and αρχία meant first a military ‘leader’ and then ‘ruler’. Anarchist society is one ‘without rulers’: a classless, non-hierarchical society.

This is mine. Even though I have GBs of kickass inspiration art, I've always preferred some serene landscapes for my wallpaper. It isn't distracting and soothes me I also have another on my second monitor, but since I'm at school I can't access it now. Will post later!
