I am liking the painting of the women with wings although I agree with what someone else said that it could look even better with the wings more dynamic. Right now they are secondary focus to the actual figure.

Sorry for not posting sooner. We had SPX (Small Press Expo) here in stockholm so I have been there all weekend. It was fun and I was featured in a friends Comic with an illustration.
So I worked some more on my sucubuss. Cleaning stuff up and adding detail.

Yes! That's the ticket! Great job on the rendering!
One small thing, on her left shin, the shadow might be a little strong there as to me it makes that portion of the leg look like it consists of only two muscles and no bone to support them (which is ironic since the shadow is caused by the bone!).

Hmmm...B-Man, your colors seem to have a consistently dull, sort of jaundiced quality (skin tones, esp.). Much like some guache or watercolor.

This often seems to result from building up color and value with a series of low-opacity strokes. I notice, though, that your studies from photos and screen-caps seem to have quite good color and value. Perhaps you're just not confident to use more a more bold, saturated palette in your creative work?

Your line-work, on the other hand seems quite good.

Try using either a more saturated palette or less transparent brush-strokes, just to see where it takes you.

Keep it up, you've got a good balance of creative work and studies...that's pretty rare.

Håller med flaskposten, hud tonen ser lite för gulaktig ut, om du nu försöker få den att se realistisk ut. Succubus brukar iofs ha en annan hudfärg, mer bleka. Bra former på den, bra pose. du skulle kunna leka mer riktningen på ansiktet än rakt framifrån, kanske lite från sidan?

The succubus is one of your weakest lately I think. As others also pointed out, the skincolor needs some adjustments. The wings also looks dull, like something in the background an not a part of her body. Stronger wings with a more 3d feel to them, and maybe have the part where the wings connect to her back have a color that matches her skin. Dunno, just an idea.

Also, tits too small. Really, mate. This is a succubus. How is she gonna seduce anyone in a state like this?

mostly seems like the wings need to be brought in to the same lighting scheme. also, if you do something to bring the middle of the wings (the top bony structure, where it attaches to her back) forward, that will do much to give it a more 3d feel.

I agree with everyone about the sucubus. It is beyond saving. I dont wanna keep polishing a turd so I move on. I took the TAD class on Female figure. And It was inspiering. I started working on 100 heads and I'm only up to 25 soon Ill be there though.

keep up the studies mate.In the last one you putted some black blacks as outlines and that made for example the face to look described with line rather than relations of light and shadow.Outlines can be created by the contrast of neighborhood values

hi there, it's been long time !

you improved a lot since my last visit
Your lines quality is great, keep it up.
one note about your painting, some of them when get finished become a bit rigid (ex 637) loosing the sketch's power. I heard one tip about it:it is too finish the painting like it's always a sketch, it's like many sketch above each other (sketch the whole figure then sketching the parts, then going to details with sketchs)
it sounds bizarre but give it a try.

The around 1h (white girl) is very good example
