    Great work. I love it.

    I have been avoiding looking at other submissions out of fear that my ideas will have already been better realised by someone else.
    Fears well founded it seems ( http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=164008 ) at least I didn't go steampunk. I'm thankful for that choice.

    I am now going to go through the entire catalogue of posted entries, so that my next piece will actually be unique.

    Thanks guys!

    Messed with it more. I was too much in love with the mech bird + rider, but with some friends' help I realized that the details/contrast on them is flattening out the picture.

    Also changed the background slightly.

    This will likely be my final, although I will not submit it for another 2 days and last-minute fixes are possible. Please point out any problems you see, thanks!
