Is this a good crop or no? It is approximately the aspect ratio of a certain magazine cover. I doubt if I will make it anyway in view of "my style," but if you don't fit the format you have cut yourself out of all possibility of success.

I was just considering that for if I make an attempt, cos I wanted to do it landscape but I guess it would be a bad idea.

That centaur is pretty creepy though, are you going to leave it black and white? I think that adds to the scaryness.

Huh! Interesting you should say that. This is a reduction of the 300 dpi scan I just made thinking I would drop a digital layer of flat colors in behind it and then perhaps a layer of shadows and highlights.

This wouldn't be the first time somebody told me I messed something up by coloring it.

Do you like that grainy look, or should I smooth up the lines? As in:

The difference is that first one is actually a 1 bit blk & wht .bmp scan while the second one is a millions of colors .png scan.

I like the smoother one as its a bit easier to see everything.

I know what you mean about colouring. I've had so many drawings that that I was proud of, only to throw it all away after a horrific attempt at colouring. At least using photoshop its easy to start again if it goes wrong.
