Icon Newborn - Follow me (FINAL image)

hi all, finaly got time to enter this challenge,im not sure i will be able to finish my image before the deadline, anyway lets give it a try!!!
so here is my first concept:
'Shazim' is a demon king using human souls to feed and help the born of his son and successor,to do so he should catch human and bring them to the soul river to change them to energy that can be consumed by his son.
after killing 1000 human his son can come to life in a full form.

any comments or critiques are welcome

Nice composition mate. Maybe you can show more of the river by expanding your canvas to tell more of the story. Right now it looks like a pose shot for Shazim.

Great character and viewpoint, Dissar. Coming along really fast and very nicely. I don't see you having any problems finishing in time if you go at this pace.

looking good so far, i agree with hueyyeng if you expand your convas you'll be able to show more of the river & maybe you could show a bit of shazim's son coming out of the soul river as well.

Love his horn-like hairstyle and the angle is working really well too. Are you going to expand the canvas at all - would like to see more of his world.

Great pose, and I'm loving the modeling of the face. It'll be cool to see how the other elements shape up -- I'm excited to see it.

the wisps and tendrils are looking really hot, and lend a lot of energy to the piece. There are places where they feel more on the surface of a painting than existing in space, but I'm sure that'll resolve pretty instinctively as you work on things.

I love that he has his dad's hair.

Wow I'm loving your latest progress.

Nothing much to crit as everything looks in place for me. I know you're going to touchup the colour since it looks more of a mood colour at the moment.

Stunning piece you got here - seeing this now, I think I shouldn't have gone for a more comical approach. But nevertheless, it looks awesome.

Great piece but I prefer the black and white rendering.

If you can create a strong focus area with colours with some varieties in it, that will be awesome. My 2 cents.

The colour in your final piece is not that harmony. It consists mainly of strong vivid blue and red colour.

You can try to make the sky with a deep purple hue to compliment the red and blue colours in the scene. Sometimes a picture worth a thousands word so if you don't mind I did a quick paintover of your work.

A real quick paintover so take it with a pinch of salt.
