@ seetsy Thank you. I'm really not big fan of refs, though I advice to use them on every corner ^_^' I just prefer to observe something for some time and than try to recreate it.

again, lil sketch.. not much of anything...

thnx for sharing knowledge mate!!!!the sketch is lovely and improved. Some soft brighter passes here and there in the rendering part made it look a little strange so i think i liked it more on earlier stages while i watched the vid.Maybe because you thought almost the same about every material in there.I would keep somethings more matte.
Keep up man, you are doing great!!!!

Hey, mate! Long time no see!!

Got crappy internet connection right now, so I couldn't watch your vid till the end. Nice one! But I think it will become better if you could give some "explanation" (what you think at minute x;xx, why you go for that line, etc etc). Just some neat, short comment like "Whoops... Did a mistake" or "Hmm... The pose isn't dynamic enough". Let me see your personality muahahahah!!

Well it was quite spontan... And that exact image doesn't really deserve any comments ^___^ But the next one will be commented. Maybe even some voiceover, though I'm a bit shy about that. Anyway, thank you for comment, Bluez.

Hey there, great studies.. I specially like the ones from posemaniacs.com... I've been using that site myself, it's great for both: gestures and a bit of anatomy... that's what I think at least

you are definitely on the right track! keep working on your anatomy as I'm sure you know... a few goofy things there and there such as bug eyes and tiny jaws but i am sure you will iron those out as you go. keep at it!

Some nice stuff here - I love the enviros especially. That last dragon sketch also looks nice, though that beard (?) makes it look like it has just eaten some really giant rats (I don't think I've ever seen any bearded dragon - maybe not the best idea - or should be polished some more)
And one important general remark: Your faces look off. Some less, some more, but there are minor problems with all of them. I can't really point out what's the problem with them. Sometimes the eyes are wonky (like on that video guy), sometimes the nose, sometimes the lips (video guy again). Sometimes the - lack of - overall structure. I'd highly recommend that you should do face studies - both general anatomy studies and portraits - to check if you can render different characteristics. Portraits of famous people can be especially good as others can easily point out errors on them.
    Keep on sketchin'!

Dragon's starting to look more realistic. That's great, i'm glad, that you're on to details so much. Keep it up!
By the way, see nothing wrong about the beard, that's ok for unexisted creatures to have anything that artist wants.

But faces are lil'bit strange, I give you that. Some of them are good though, but in common - unnatural... That's good idea to start making portraits)

@ Novbert Thanks for stopping by and giving such review. About faces - yeah I know it. But those what you see here are just a tip of the iceberg. Mostly my facial studies are done in a real sketcbook. All I can say in my defense, that 1 year ago I even coudln't draw a face. I'm still pushing my stuff further, and, maybe in a few months, but my techniques will be even better. About rat tails - I can see what you talking about, but as said Naram Sinha - "that's ok for unexisted creatures to have anything that artist wants". However I do not like how thread laying right now, so I'll change it soon.

BTW, it's nice to hear from you, Alex. Hope you hadn't change much after that trip, because you sometimes such an ass.

So, I've updated (another facial and render studies, plus composition and silhouettes) plus some halfsilhouettes. Unfortunately can't right now keep it daily. However, thanks you all for feedback. Oh, and go check our Indie\ModDB page Just click here!

p.s. it's all digi, not pencils)

Hey Seraph, thanks for dropping by my sketch book.

Anatomy is a little wonky on these comic book pages. You need to find some good reference.
I'm seeing a few good ideas coming up as far as how you are composing these pages, try pushing it, as far as how you want the eye to flow from one panel to the next, and how big shapes align to each other.
I liked the warmer skin tones (post #198) but maybe turning it bluer was a sound decision for the overall mood.
