Here's quick 25 min sketch before work. Still keeping that victorian feel to the character. Will finish him and add more character. All done with fully opaque brush - really fond of opaque brushes for base recently. They can be harsh, but it helps to train sense of color, as you have to accurately choose tones for shades and specs.

Regarding putting more time into work - I do so, but it's mostly for main job, or for freelance, but I can't show that stuff right now.

Oh wow I love the tower concepts Some yummy symmetry going on and they look so 3D! The concepts are very clear due to your beautiful drawing and crisp lines. The coloured piece is a triumph as is most of your colour work. You obviously have a great understanding of colour and it really shows.

Kirill these are great concepts!!!I also have to work on some props. Love the lines and the beautiful render. . As of some critique i could say that the perspective in some of them could be a little more careful, but thats just minor details. Keep up the good work mate

it's more of a personal opinion, some of your human shading are a bit plastic, perhaps your should use less highlights. but if it's your style, forget what i said.

The first one is sort of ent-like mother (roots and leaves, kinda woody) with child, and the second one - been practicing watercolor style brush.

I like your paintings, but I wish you could increase the contrast a little to show more darks and lights in some pieces (not all of them). I just think that some of the paintings are dull.
