Scitalis - Newborn - WIP

Hi,

I thought id start a thread to show my progress with the newborn contest.

Although starting alittle late, i have some free time over the next few weeks and feel an urge to enter.

Im very new to conceptart.org, having looked as an observer for a number of years now.

I guess its time for me to embrace the community and its art and most importantly, have some fun!

As someone who joined a few years ago myself and has only just plunged in over the last couple of months, I can identify with the need to lurk. Don't know about you, but I used to have a problem with the scripts not iking my system until the wonderful new overhaul recently too - which also delayed my plunging. Great to be here now though - isn't it?

Nickillus, thank you for you words! This site as quite daunting on many levels, just so much amazing artwork! Happy to add my stuff to the mass though. Its about time!

Took a gander at your blog and gallery and am blown away by your work, its all so stunning and well drawn, and imagined. very inspired.


Starting to dwell here and there in concept art and i might even comment on some posts!!

So, tonight i finally got some squirts of inspiration for newborn.. while scribbling on this one im already pushing it elsewhere. Although i want to have a similar relationship between the character and the.... object.

I want to make it look like the lights and patterns are fused with sound. more vibration/frequency/light/holographic patterns are gonna get used i feel.
