Hello, my name's Heather Nunnelly, and I am a cartoonist. I have a few comics on my website if you want to check it out. I have the url at the bottom.

This is my sketchbook from the beginning of college to now which is Senior year. At first there is a lot of fan art until I achieved enough confidence to draw my own work. Obviously, I've improved a lot since I began this, so if you want to see better art go to the last page.

A practice comic I did making fun of Wesker. This took me a REALLY long time and was pretty hard to do. I've never shaded with pen like this or had this much background. Everything was kind of a experiment. Through this experiment I found that I need to work on my split paneling. People mostly complained about that.

I took out quotes because I thought it looked better this way, but if you want to know what the quotes are, it's from a scene from Resident 5 which goes like this:

Wesker: [Panel 1] 7 minutes.
[panel 3 and 4] 7 minutes is all I can spare...
[panel 5] ...to play with you.

@Krato I can do realism but I like cartoons more so I tend not to post it up.

Nah, really good stuff. Try playing with brightness/contrast in your scans to get pure blacks and whites- it' makes them all the more interesting.

post #6 is cute.
and the WIP is coming along nicely.
If you're already in the know, keep checking compositions and values
by zooming out to thumbnail size every now and then. Just so you can better see where
the darks and lights are at the moment and adjust if necessary.

@Icedearth15876 Thank you very much. Disturbing is usually what I do, so the term doesn't bother me too much. As long as you feel something when you see my work, that what I find enlightening.
