    Hey!

Some very VERY good studies up there. I find you kind of lose the wind out of your sails when doing the original stuff, almost like you see the concept and GO for it, where as with the studies you seem to take a bit more time.

That could be just me, but its what I get from the work I've seen. Your tones and shading is great, and again, those studies are amazing! Cheers!

these first studies are very impressive, especially of the skinny man.
but i think the last sketches lost a little bit of the reality-level. they dont show the anatomical correctness as the first, so they look a bit "cartoony". perhaps it was your intention. if not....work more on the proportions etc. blabla

Dr.Blindsy- 10x for comment. i like a lot to draw but now i must get used with painting
V.I.N- you see the mistakes...first ones are 4 h studies last ones are 10-15 minutes, fast drawings for my hand to get more used to fast work.

And here are some GIMP paintings (gimp is a little slower that PS but i use linux and it's the best program for linux ). i try to find a god way to use brushes(soft vs hard edge brushes). i spend this week at my country house and i worked out this, hope you like!

@spaggen - 10x! i try to change a my painting style, to become more realistic...something like randis(from here) style. but it's a lot of work...
@zulu - hi man! yes from transylvania, lot of mountains and woods. wow, than your grandfathers traveled a lot, and in that times it was much. 10x and i will put pencils when i will have more, at the university we have only a few weeks models now in second year. But i try hard with my wacom

here is a digital painting i liked to do. i tried to put more details and work on it to be a good piece but still it's little artificial. maybe because of GIMP...i don't know...

Heh , abea acum te-am plasat frate , adica nu de desene vorbeam ca am recunoscut modelele ^^ .

App de desene ai grija la proportii , unele parti sunt exagerate poate chiar caricaturizate

    salut

thanks for stopping by my sb, you got some nice pencil work here!
I'd suggest you to try and do your digital stuff in only 4-5 degrees of value before colouring it, that should improve your tone work .. the less you use the neater it looks

Mmm, being brave here, going to say maybe try some different positions instead. Perhaps try a little bit of asymmetry and loosen up some.

Maybe there is a mistake in the drawing where the chap has a beanie on. My feeling is that his lip would go to the edge of the form.

This may help, not sure, but try one exercise, maybe see if you like it -

Hei Paul, frumos ce postezi tu pe aici in special studiile in creion, la digitale imi plac culorile pe care le'ai folosit la personajul cu lampa, dar cred ca amandoi mai avem de exersat cu tableta
    Spor la desenat!

Hey Man The last pieces have an awsome rendering style, But when you are drawing people in poses it could add a lot to the realism when you draw the feet not in profile. Draw them in perspective, in a lot of you're drawings there's always one foot in profile.

I made that mistake to and when i started to correct that it helped me a lot in creating dynamic poses :p

    Grts !

Hey, some decent work here, it reminds me of Ray Caesar, your rendering is really exquisite though. My favourite is the chap smoking, it has a great finished feel to it.

What the chap above has mentioned, maybe try experimenting with some more dynamic poses.

aparent au inceput sa prinda culoare , congrats! in sepcial la ultima care este foarte diferita de restul, si tabloul lui Munch nu a ramas neobservat , poate petalele au fost prea mult , au incarcat compozitia intr-un mod deranjant .

    da-i bice!
