I dig the first oil painting of the silhouetted bluff, nothing like on-site work to capture the light accurately.

Sorry I havent posted much lately-I had a busy weekend of hiking and adventure. Now its back to the drawing boards and work. SO here is a quick WIP of my trusty gas mask. I have a few sketches to post but that will take me a while to scan and shit. So stay tuned!

Here is a more studious fine art dump. I am working on a series of paintings on this ballerina. So here are some sketches and compositions I have going on. I have a few studies in oil I will post in a few days.
I also have some sketches from the park. Gotta keep drawing. There will be more concept work soon too!

    Thanks for any feedback!

YAYAYA! I got some CS3 action going on. I am still awaiting the funds for a tablet but at least I can add some color. So here we go.
I took the Troll drawing I had earlier and added some more info. This is a WIP still and I wanted to hear the feed back anyone here might have for me. Ive got a few other things going still also.
So here is the troll WIP and some more sketches!
    ENJOY!
and give me some damn feedback!

Very impressive stuff, here man! Diggin' it! Hey, I got crit for the orc piece you recently posted. Only thing that I think needs fixing are his fists. Seems like he doesn't have to clench them, since he's just walking casually. That's all I got to say. The WIP's Looking good so far though! Dude, keep up the good work! I'll be back to check you out, man!

Still working the troll painting. Feed back would be super appreciated!

Also-my first speed paint! I am really feeling the handicap of not having a tablet with this kind of thing. I will probably work on this for a little longer but its worth posting for a little crit or something.
    Thanks!

Wrappii-Thank you! Color in photoshop is hard to get used to! Its nice to not have to mix paints.

On that note-here is a quick color study for my little series of oil paintings. Its not too refined-but Im going to go keep tweaking it. I have two others to finish up by thursday

Nice man! The thumbnails are awesome. Great thing your working on oil painting. Painting from life really helps with observation, color, and digital painting. Keep up the growth.

some delicate drawings, you've got a good grasp on values.

try to save that when passing to painting (just let it be in your mind)

good luck in your classes (don't hesitate to talk about what you did each class, it interest a lot of people)

Du5k- Thanks man! I am going away for 10 days-but check back after then I will have some new stuff up.

zou- Thanks for the feedback. Its hard to balance all the tasks out but I know value should be the number one. I will post more about school when it starts again!

    strings- thanks!

Bartovan- Thanks! I am going to be adding more vehicles soon!

sanakris- Thank you, I am trying to spread my wings and catch everything I can. All of the traditional work really pays off-or it seems to be!

Now-I did another quick speed paint. Not as cool as the other one-but meh-thought I would post it anyway. Shameless bump?
I am going on vacation for 10 days. I will be sketching and plein air painting though, so I will bring some stuff back.
Thanks for all the support and feedback! It really keeps me drawing everyday!

Okay, this is the last dump. I went out and did some sketching in the park and I have been working on some kind of world war one theme world design. I designed an engine and a "power cell" kind of thing. I want to add some futuristic or outlandish elements but keep the awkwardness of all the machines. So that will be in the works. Anyway-I am getting on the plane in a bit! Bye everyone!

I am home now, and finally had the chance to use the tablet. I did a quick speed paint of Glacier park, based off a photo I took during my trip. I have more things to post, but I have to scan them in. Maybe tomorrow!

immelmann_turn- Thanks! I shall keep posting-keep coming back!

So, here is a big dump o' crap for you. Ive got a tank of that world war one theme. Nothing special and pretty boring. I need to work more on the vehicles. So I have some creepy ink drawings too.
On the fine art side, just some sketches from life. I managed to get to a lif drawing class while in Montana, and got an ex of mine to pose for me as well. I did a little illustration of my trip home too.
I took my sketch of the bomber and added some color and a bit of an environment. didnt take too long.
    [C+C ] are welcome!

Erick Willand- Thanks! I think there is a lot of "beauty" in the old war machines. I like the awkwardness.

    JoshDArtist-Thanks!

tokotewhero- The intuos is amazing! It makes everything so much more fluid, The express keys are really great. I almost regret getting it because now its all I want to do! Sadly that orc painting got flattened, and I dont even want try and work on it with out the layers. I will start something new.

Here is another quick monster concept, and a WIP for another troll painting.
