zanna92 you should fear Gibson because he is drunk and mad and insane, and he conquered half of Scotland.
Thank you for visiting my SB.

Not a big update, just a little digital painting exercise.

Two things I would like to say:
A: You have improved quite a bit.
B: Your referenced drawings look much better than your non-referenced stuff although that is changing by all the progress that you have made.

Hey, things are lookin good in here. I like the rendering you did on that old man especially. For the digital portrait above, it looks like you're learning to use blocks of colour to shade/give dimension and that is good. Only crit I can give is to watch the direction of your brush strokes and try to make them flow more with the natural contours of the face. The black and red scheme for the skull concept goes together well. Really liking the contrast.

Keep it up and thank you for your pointers in my sketchbook.

FightingSeraph thank you very much. Yes, I am still not at the level where I can draw successfully from my imagination.

coreanseoul thank you for your feed back. I am still a starter with digital art. Will work on improving. I will follow your SB.

    hellou,

it has been told - refferenced works are better than non-refferenced... but thats totally normal... so what you need are studies (and it has been probably told too) especially figure drawings... than you can study details... i know it because im drowning in figure drawing too but it worths...

anyway i like that old man from nb 63 (i think its 63) ... good job... hard working is appreciated

so draw draw draw... you have a good start...
    My first sketchbook... wanna improve!
    I also wanna rock! ROCK! tuptuptudum...tudumtuptudum...tudumtuptudum... I - want - to - rock!

People, thank you for viewing and for your support.
This next few drawings and sketches are drawn from references from this forum from various user's sketchbooks. I did not wrote down their names, I honestly hope that they will not mind if I use their great work to my daily exercise reference.

Hey, it's great to see lots of sketches. And i'm sure people would feel honored if you used their pieces for sketches. But don't make it plagiarism :p

My only critique are your figures. People have already suggested studying anatomy & figures. But to be more precise; some segments of your bodies just don't connect correctly. Just something to think about during your next sketches.

Keep it up! (Oh, btw. What happened to your digital stuff ;D )

I really like what you've got here and you can definately see improvement.
When making characters, try to put them in perspective and/or work on the values to give the characters mass and form. The ideas you've got here are really good but some of the characters have a certain flatness. Value studies with boxes, spheres and other simple forms will help you with this.
You also seem to have taken digital art pretty well, you've progressed quickly. I'd say push your values on digital art to give further emphasis to the pieces.
Keep on rocking, you'll be a champ one day.

Rotor & SymbioticFusion thank you very much for visiting and giving me advices. Unfortunately not many people visits my sketchbook lately and I get not much advices. I am so happy now that you left a comment
I will definitely work next on perspective and will work on values.

I will post now two comic book attempts that I did with ink about 10 years ago:
