Hello Emery,

The legs and belly of the girl are a bit strange, but the overall feeling is great!
There is still progress!

Hey everyone. Here's some stuff I worked on over the last few months.
I wanted to develop more on my traditional drawing skills and I also started oil painting last October.
First some Vouet studies, and last image is my drawing from a 10-week portrait class with Tom Van De Wouwer.
Some still-life and portrait studies, last image shows my copy of Gericault (Portrait of a Kleptomaniac) still a WIP though.
smashing work, youve totally inspired me to study this (vouet) kind of art, thanks!

Awesome portraits, very nice traditional work!
One thing, It seems that your copy of Gericault has got colder colours than the original painting.
I dont know if its the photo or if its really there, but it might be a point of intrest.
