    Very weird and cool.

Evocative and both sinister and touching.

I love whoever is doing the graphic design for his soundtracks.

I really don't like Dragonforce at all, but the work Andrew Jones did for this cover is the best thing I can attribute to them.

Also, Wolfmother is a terrible band, but at least they have good artistic taste. The fact that they used Frank Frazetta paintings for some of their covers is both badass and really disappointing.

These are a bit different, but I think the covers of the albums from world music label Putumayo are really charming. They're all done by artist Nicola Heindl. And of course, the music they contain is absolutely fantastic

Here are a few examples, all of which I own:

And one of my all time favourites is Absolution by Muse:

I could post like a milion of those... for now I'll only throw in those three.

Dave Mckean - amazing covers for metal bands like Fear Factory, Machine Head also great comic artist/cover artist - for example Sandman covers.

Don't know who made the one from Poison the Well - but it's one of my favs.

And last - classic from Storm Thorgerson, this one made for Pink Floyd's classic Wish You Were Here album. He's famous for loads of amazing covers for artists like PF, Dream Theatre, Peter Gabriel.

but i've always loved this particular photo:

there's also a photo of a cow licking its own butthole that i love, but i cant find that online.
on the album einma i can only find the front cover that wasn't that intersting to me, but it has interchangeable covers that are awesome. had that lintuclar effect
