Nice work. Some of them have a kind of John Berkey or Vincent DiFate thing going on, or maybe John Harris. Berkey's concepts are brilliant, but as far as I know, he's never "finished" a painting in his life, so I'm kind of annoyed with the unfinished look of his style. These are better than his stuff, imho, for that reason.

Beautiful! Although the b&w one looks far from finished.

About how long does one of those take?

Always amazed at how your simple shapes and abstract brush strokes so easily define form.
Great stuff, thanks for continuing to share with us.

That's funny. That's exactly what I love about Berkey's work, the ambiguity. That and his sense for grand, enormous forms. Anyway, that's just a taste arguement.

Sparth, I love them and look forward to following your "Outer Transport" Blog...is there a link yet? You're spaceship design is always a joy to look at.

i am definitely getting that feeling of magnificent, breathtaking and awe-inspiring sci-fi from these paintings. I can rarely find this in artwork, movies and music, but when I do it always reminds me of one of the main reasons I want to become an artist, so that I may one day inspire the same feeling in other people. The fact that you are succeding in doing that is a testament to your skill in my opinion.

    thanks for sharing!
