    Red face Comic book gig

As a fellow artist and lover of concept art, I couldn't think of a better place to look for another artist to work with.

Time doesn't permit me to do this all by myself, so I would love to find someone who I can work with.

I would like to find just two or three people to keep a tight workflow.

*Coloring the digital work (painter or psd whichever works).

    *Main design/ pencil work (digital)

    -----------------

    Gig is a follows...

    *Payments by paypal.

    *Looking for digital work only

*The pieces would be payed per page. (have not set a final price yet)

I am looking at a small PAYED test gig to find my team.

Anyone with experience is a plus, but looking for a solid skill set and time commitment (2 to 4 weeks) of freelance time...

Because I am well aware we all have other things we are working on too!

    -----------------
The comic is part of a short film.

So this is doubling as the storyboard.

The premise of the film is as follows.

*Wheelchair based Vigilante who fights local drug and gang activity.

    -----------------

Thanks for taking time with me guys and gals!

Feel free to shoot me an email and links to any previous comic work.

If I am missing something here, let me know...

because I am new to the whole comic gig thing, I am used to just doing visual fx work.

Also... I don't want to lock in a style and scare off some people that would have been great for the gig.

I am mainly concerned about finding someone that can do a style for a whole book 30 to 60 pages.

I would hate to fall in love with a style that can't be done on time or at the same quality, you know

    Take care

Guys, please don't post links and portfolios in the job threads. I understand there is a problem with the email bouncing messages back. Please send cntmedia private messages instead until they return and update the contact info. You can do this by clicking cntmedia's name in the message and choosing private message from the drop down menu.

If you've left a portfolio link here you'll want to send a private message as I am, as always, deleting portfolio links. Sorry for the inconveniance but it just gets too out of hand.

    Some explication for this?
No, it wasn't just you (Part of the problem is that when there's one of these posts it tends to generate more).
And the explanation is in J Wilson's post.

Sorry Marco. There were several posts. Some I edited to remove the portfolio links, but leave the message that a few people were having problems with the email. Others were just portfolio links and I removed the entire post. As Elwell said once a thread has even one person leave a link, it tends to attract dozens of others to do the same, and it causes a lot of clutter.

This thread goes into more detail on the policy, if you want to discuss it there.

Because the first sentence was the part that mentioned that the provided contact info didn't work. The rest was information that the EMPLOYER would need to read. It wasn't relevant to anyone else. The issue isn't just links, it's that you don't need to post information in the employment forums that more properly belongs in a message to the employer.

If you still have questions after reading that, post them there. Yes the policy is a little strict, but it's what needs to be done (I feel) to keep the forum working best for the majority of people.
