This is a really nice piece. Triangular composition is especially imposing and 'claustrophobic' - the foreground guy looks in a proper mess! The drama, threat and darkness of his predicament comes across really well. The piece reminds me of my ex-wife, in fact.

That's good, but I think that pink water makes the piece a bit weaker, why don't you try some other hue?

nice job on this. I agree with the comment about the pink. I see this piece looking really nice if it were pretty much all monochromatic with the blue being a saturated focal point. Just a thought. Good stuff.

The lack of cohesion with the colours and their overall muddiness really pulls the whole image down. The composition is pretty cool and I'll even go as far as to say that the creature design itself is decent but unfortunately the rendering and colour choice are sub par. You tried too much and your skills haven't reached the level of your creativeness. 3 light sources...really?

    Anyway nice try mate.

Robert.B cheers! I tried very hard to get the movement

thegrayslayer ha ha ha ex wife, terrifying concept to me, only 22 fresh faced ha ha. Thank you for your kind words

    Chupacabra Cheers mang!

Max_Bertolini thank you, yeh I not too sure about the water in retrospect, i was going for a strong light in the tunnel and it just got a bit crazy i suppose, thanks for the crit.

snasitra hey thanks, all thoughts welcome, gotta learn from it so i can move on

Oni Rem wow thank you! glad you like

Brashen Thank you for the crit dude, appreciate it, This was actually the first time I have painted in this way, I started off with a thumbnail and no sketch (something I have not tried before) and worked it up from there, My understanding of colour and my rendering are something I am going to continue to work on amongst other things, I suppose i was trying to push myself with this piece and learnt a lot in the process, both what not to do and what to repeat. Glad you found the design decent, I shall be working hard to get the other areas of my work up as well, then hopefully I can start impressing some people. Thanks again for the crit, Its those things i learn from.

    All the best

Please feel free to crit this piece, I will not be taking anything bad said as a dig on me, I have to learn and get better than this piece!

    All the best
