    Beautiful paintings Samantha,
your sketches are well through out and designed and i particularly like the graphic whimsicalness of your paintings on page one, again wonderful work.

    Cheers
    Mike

I think the perspective is a bit off in #30. The horizon differs for each of the elements in the picture.

But overall, I think your paintings are very... relaxed. The colors, the brushwork, the overall feel. They're really pleasant to look at .

I agree that the horizon changes for an object if it's angle changes vertically (for example, when it's on a slope. The horizon for the slope is different than the ''horizon of the viewer''), but I'm under the impression that the vanishing points are all on the one and the same horizon line if there are no ''strange'' vertical angles, like the slope from the previous example. If objects' angles differ horizontally (like on a curved street), then their vanishing points do move but they will all stay on the same horizon line. This sounds like a load of gibberish but I hope that makes sense. But of course correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just a newbie myself. If I really am wrong, then okay, my bad (not like I'm in the position to crit people anyway, haha).

hi! louise ,,, i think here is the question. no matter what kind of angle and size , just a normal regular box,in the same scene,,, the horizon will be on the same line... like the pic
