Very nice handstudies
I noticed that the purple hand in post #18 has kind of a weird thumb. I think it aught to be a bit more angeled.
What do you use as ref when doing them? your own hands or do you have someone pose for you?

I like the tecnique in which you are doing them. Is there somewhere i read up on that tecnique?

It DOES look a bit weird, yes.
I've been drawing my own hand. Sometimes through a mirror.
As for the technique, I've been looking at the hands in Gottfried Bammes' Menschen zeichnen. It's only available in german as far as I know. I can't read german but I still find the drawings extremely helpful.
