All I was able to get done before having to leave to go see my girlfriend. Tried a different approach. Only ever did a drawing starting on a black canvas once back in high school and never did it again. I'm going to have to start doing it more often because it was fun!

I thought it would mean to call someone snorkle-man that had snorkle-esque physical deformities, but if an evil corporation installed the snorkles into you then I feel much better with the name snorkle-man

Ohh, don't quit, I quite like that. Truly, I think all it needs is a bit more of the green lighting from the eyes to show on the tubes above and below him and it would have a much greater sense of finished-ness.

The "legs" are fabulous though, very nice work mate!

tokuku - i like your piece, nice mood and colors. theres seems to be a lack of foreshortening in the lower torso which make it read as if the dude stands.

vanvalen - great cute/creepy creature design, i love it!

He has puffy pants and peg legs because I was thinking about pirates. In retrospect, I should have also added a parrot or sweet hat. Oh well, next time.

Smashed Skeleton - I don't know what the story is with your blogspot link breaking, but try using a site that is specifically set up for this sort of thing, like PHOTOBUCKET, and you should have no further issues. Incidentally, when using such (free, by the way) services, they generally will give you the option of choosing to make your stuff "private". It is recommended that you take advantage of this, otherwise your stuff becomes accessible to anyone over there and will sometimes end up on t-shirts and mugs on someone else's "storefront". Just something to be aware of. Also, in the future, please check the various FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) stickies that accompany just about any and all forums before cluttering up a thread with... well... noob-type queries. Thanks!
