    Darkdreamer

Another large oil painting exhibited at the recent IlluXCon in the USA.

I have a step by step of this which I'll post here later in the week when I get a chance.

Nice work, really like the pose / colours. Very Vallejo-esque.

Thanks guys, appreciate you stopping by.

There's no doubt of my debt to Boris as it was his work that first turned my head. If it wasn't for that guy's influence I might still be in the getto with a miserable job, or no job.

I had the pleasure of meeting him and Julie at the recent IlluXCon in the U.S, which was great as by then I was as a professional illustrator ( we were all guest illustrators ). They came to my screen presentation where I aknowledged the great man and he spoke from the audience on how proud he was to have been a part of my becoming such a 'great' illustrator. I just about held the tears in. Got to know him and Julie later at the show and became friends. Fantastic people. Couldn't have wished for a better outcome to that trip!

    Best wishes,

    P.

Wow! That's a pretty successful business trip. Agreed, a very inspirational artist and you seem to have gleaned a lot. Look forward to more of your postings.
