    Visual conversations with myself.

    Hi,
I'm a kid from Sydney,Australia and I like to draw stuff and talk to myself at the same time. That's right, I can multitask future employees.

Concept art/Illustration and Design are my core skills. I have worked mainly in Film and Television industry as a Production Artist. I would love to move into doing concept art for the Games industry as well.
I am always open to exciting new freelance opportunities, so don't hesitate to drop me an email.
My main goal with this sketch book is to push myself harder and one day draw like I am possessed by the Devil. haha, or by Jesus. ha.

I have put up a montage of my old sketches and study's first off. But if you are interested in some finished work, click on over to my blog.
    http://colinbigelow.blogspot.com/

I will upload some of my new stuff soon.
    Enjoy and Peace out"

Hey I'm back with some stuff that has been posted on my blog, but I think it is still relevant for my sketch book. The first two are some speed paintings complete in less than 2hrs and then some beast heads. I am going to be fleshing out a body for both of these guys so stay tune.

jdadragon- Cheers mate, I will do.

    Peace"

    Hey,

there is some nice quality in some of your pencil studies!

    And your environments look nice

Perhaps, the muzzle of the charhead on the right points in a bit different direction than the back of the head does?

But great work, keep posting that inspiring stuff

Beautiful drawings. I particularly like the landscapes. The characters are nice too, but perhaps might look better with a few textured brushmarks? Just a thought. Great stuff man

Everything vou've posted certainly is "topnotch" but I am currently stuck on digital creation so I really dig the "animal overlord" and the environments - I can understand the desire to draw rather than post but if you have more I demand you post it!

Wow, everything you have posted has amazed me, the drawing of your girlfriend was nice, and I can't believe it only took 2 hours! Something like that probably would have taken me like 8 or 10 haha, keep up the really good work man.

I like the clarity of your line work Rustik, and the colours, particuarly in a few of the landscapey pieces. Some nice things going on in here.

Hero89 - thanks man, really its just big brush strokes that what speeds me up. The rule I live by is to use the biggest brush possible. I mean it digital, you can just undo it if doesn't work.
    Mr.Juicy - Thanx
    destinyapocalypse - wow thanks man.
polipol - Hey dude, thanx for the props man. Yeah post it up man it would be cool to meet some more artist.
Nickillus - Thanks heaps man. I had a look at your sketchbook, and man loving all the imaginative work your pulling out. I will have to keep an eye on your sketchbook for sure.

    Red face

    HEY YA,
I am back with some sketches from the Chinese Gardens, Sydney. The tools at work are Pantone markes and my trusty "Paper mate" Ballpoint pen.
These two sketches are on the same page of my sketchbook but I really need to get an A3 scanner. If anyone knows of a real good quality scanner let me know. Enjoy

    Heads

Been real slack in updating this sketchbook. So here's the only thing I've scanned lately. haha, don't worry I will have the sketches from NZ on here soon. Just to busy at the moment.

Heads, not interesting just practicing character design without reference. Probably should have used reference but hey I'm exercising my visual memory.
