    Stop Motion Animation

Wow, I didn't realise CA had an animation forum! I've been knocking about in the 3D sculpture forum for some time posting some pics of various sculptures and also stop motion animation puppets so thought I'd share some animations I've done.

Should probably say I'm no expert at this and this has all kinda been figured out from scratch with no formal training, so I fully appreciate there's plenty to be said for timing, natural motion...narrative...minor things like that ;0) but here we go....

These are going to be developed into a proper animation, not quite got round to it yet though....;0)

There's a longer edit of this one here if anyone's interested.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83aA8...e=channel_page

These shots have been done for a music video.

This is really nice stuff very Ray Harryhausen. I think you should study the principles of traditional animation as they are the same for stop motion somewhat. I think also if you had some anticipation and follow through instead of absolute screeching stops it would look better.
