CHOW looks good man! I'll serve up a tiny crit like everyone else, try not to over-render fur. A lot of the fur could've been clumped together instead of each one being drawn out, especially at the tail.

Good work on the assignment. Hope you get an A. ;]
And thanks for the critique on my CHoW, you're totally right and I completely forgot about the eyes and emotion sort of thing. Great refresher.
never give up, never give in! take critiques like a grain of sand from those who can't draw and from those who can draw take the critique as you deem best. sometimes what you're doing wrong is totally right for you! everyone has a different path, we just have to persist and keep on drawing!

Hi Jeremy! I have to agree with my bro's above. Fun fact: did you know that Adam had a chow entry rejected?

Hey buddy, i like where you're going with your studies. i always end up drawing gore on the sections of studies that aren't filled in as well, haha. I also encourage further study of old toons, that's some of my favorite subject matter. You can typically find $5 dvd sets of 250+ classic cartoons that are pretty awesome. Tons of old b+w stuff thats pure eye candy.
Also, good work on your red riding hood inspired dvd cover, end result looks sharp.
You're doing great, keep up these studies and such, i'll be back for more!
love the anatomy studies and i love what you did with the painting and using it for a dvd cover ha such a good idea only crit is on the figure painting... left elbow looks like its got a weird crease in it but great overall figure
love the studies man!! keep it up!

AustenFM: thanks for dropping by man, i was actually inspired by your stuff, pretty much the reason for me buying the a5 sketchbook. love your style. old toons, comics all that jaz, very interesting media.
prsnsweeney: yeah the elbow looks gay ha ha, thats why i needz to do these studies ha ha
MattGamer: thanks bro, more more MORE!
Having a lot of fun with these studies, hands next...![]()

Keep on going with your anatomy studies and toons! really diggin what you have here! keep it up!
Make sure you're applying all the muscle studies! Draw them from imagination or try creating a buff character without reference. Learning the names can be helpful but don't focus too much on it. Keep up the studies![]()
love the anatomy studies keep it coming

Nice Work with the studies!
Sorry Adam
Liking the anatomy studies!
One thing you can do as well as try the anatomy from your mind, is to draw a photo as anatomy![]()
I know it's kind of expensive, but do you have an anatomy model? This is the one I have, and while I haven't used it much yet, it's real quality!
man I love anatomyand ronnie

Some exercises on perspective and cartoons. 1. one point perspective, 2. two point perspective, 3. two point freehand perspective. 4. Cartoon facial construction. 5. Cartoon character construction.

if you get a chance check out the carl dobsky perspective videos, its the clearest explanation of perspective i've come across.
the scott robertson video are also very cool.
keep up the toon studies, being able to build up drawing with form helps a lot, with a lot of other subjects and styles![]()
