Hey, great stuff. I love how solid your mech-ish work looks, and that self-portrait has some really nice colours.

Crit on that last WIP - the left shoulder and right arm are off; the shoulder's too far out from her body and the arm is just bent at a really uncomfortable angle. Quick drawover:

That demon robot you did was fucking badass! Oh, and I also liked that woman in the claw armor.

Thanks the 3dish look just took a lot of passes and layers... I've been considering making tutorial videos, maybe I'll do one on that.. though I don't feel professional enough to be making videos, lol

Here's the previous fellow updated The vest is part of his armor, he wears other layers on top which I'll design later. But the vest is the only part that looks ok for him to wear casually

The rendering on the bull is very clean. My crit there would be that I'm not sure what the material of its plating is supposed to be. I'm sure you probably intend for it to be some kind of metal, only your rendering shows that its much more matte and diffused in lighting than any type of metal plating would be, almost like it were a maquete and not the real deal. Don't go overboard, but take higher notice of speculars and how they play with texture and form.

Your color is great and I look to have this same kind of saturation in my paintings, so I'm quite jealous there. If you have any tips on color choice, please do share on my SB. Keep up the good work!

That bull thing is fantastic, clean design, awesome character, solid lighting. How's that self portrait done, shouldn't your laptop be there? My crit on the girl with the sword would be to watch the trees in the BG, they all seem to radially grow out of her head, it could end up giving a flat look I think, give it some natural looking variation maybe. Great work!

Great stuff you got man. As for your cropping issue on the warrior female i feel she is too centered. Maybe add some space behind her or more space to the front of her. Just offset her a bit. Other than that, nice colors on everything!

Your work is really cool. Only had time to check over the last three pages or so but I like what I see.

Your digital stuff is way beyond anything I could crit, though maybe you tend too much towards pink/red in your skin tones? I noticed it in your self portrait and the girl with the sword. Her head seems a bit stiff, by the way, and her sword arm reads too small, even though you're going for a foreshortened look. It just doesn't seem right somehow. I don't know. I'm no expert with people so cant really put my finger on what's wrong, just giving my thoughts in the hope they help a little.

Love your pencil sketches too, and your various characters. Great stuff all round!

Thanks Candra! Really appreciate the crits, I think you're spot on and I've been vaguely aware of it just haven't faced it yet, lol

Here are a couple characters. I like blue costumes, think I played too much MegaMan as a kid

    Mhhh, that self portrait!
Good to see you around again. Would have been sad to see you really go, so I'm happy to see this update : )
Pretty cool colors on the first guy, but the twist of the (viewers) left arm, looks really hurtful.
I think you wanted it to look like that, but if not, then take a look at it again.

That's the only thing that dropped to my eye.

I think you have habilities (not sure of the word), you have a good level of rendering, you need to take care about proportions, maybe you can try to have more "stories" in your drawing as a cinema realisator ( not sur one more time) more dramatic lights, more composition, more "show time"... ( I hope you understand what i mean....)

You're starting to develop a pretty neat style direction with your characters, which I like a lot. Not much to crit here, just keep pushing your values/lighting/compositions.

Nemone: Thanks for stopping by! I love this community and I'm very happy things got cleared so I can continue on! You're right about that guy's arm, I was being lazy
    Xizt: thank you very much!
dess: I know exactly what you mean, I think you're saying I should push the illustrative side instead of just designing the character, and I completely agree, I'll be doing more stuff like that
    MrFrenik: thanks much

I started working on this one again, it's getting pretty close:

Quick sketch this morning redesigning Captain Falcon. Unfortunately it looks almost as silly as the original

Also I forgot to post this finished one earlier
