Here's what I'm thinkin' for the Tech, sorry about the really toon-y style, it can be changed easaly, I just find it easer to throw down characers in this style.

And I'm finding the Sage a little harded... But here's so sillos to start the ball rolling!

Any crits/idaes would be great.

Stuff to add to the original descriptions...

The Technician or 'Tech' as she's called by her friends and companions, has always been a real 'tom-boy'. She worked with her Father on the steam train for years, and has always been able to look after her self on the mean streets of a Victorian London Town. And even now after her Fathers death, she still sticks to the trains like glue.


The Sage. No one know quite where he comes from, but one things for sure... He's not from around here. Seems to have all the answers. Talks very little but hears everything.
His physical appearance is at first a little jarring, but he moves with an almost insect elegance.

the tech is rad' way cool now im think'n they'ed all be like hey you have the massive black logo as well (like its the brotherhood passed on for genarations) a jailhouse its just an idea but the sage reminds my of that vodoo guy from octopussy007 he had his face painted like a skelliton a bone neckless an like a top hat just an idea awsome job .... yall got anything for my hero an protecter?

First off, love your idea for the protector, way creepy idea, Tho I think it would be better as a she that just looks kinda man-ly. You know just tone it down a bit in the face. And I love the costume she's in in this one But you could always do one in a bathing suits if you really want, ha!

do yall know what the final is sapposed to look like is it one paint for each character an a group pic or is it like character shheets or some thin' ?

edit thats great jailhouse from reading the discripsion we can present it however we want so i was think'n we should try an build our characters up what they like to do for fun yah know extra info to help get across their personality an we should definantly make a shillo sheet cool

Jailhouse, MAN. Those are AWESOME. Those fit pretty much perfectly. I really like the tech one. Reminds me of the mechanic from the Disney film: Atlantis.

Hmmm, I was wondering about your Hero character Grandma, and I think it's needs a little more... something. I really don't know what so I probably shouldn't have mentioned it, but maybe a different costume would help.

Awesome stuff grandma, right on the mark!

In a rush, but have been thinkin' about this part of the brief->
'Rumoured to have a second personality that can remember everything from before, a 'dark' side, as it were, with totally different personality traits. and 'Found (to her horror) that she is more than capable of handling herself in a fight, and likely capable of killing.'
So I came up with this image of the hero shocked by her actions, collapsed in a pull of her victims blood, over come with grief. And in her reflection you see her Dark sides happy face looking out.
Just an Idea, take it or leave it, but it could make a strong poster image or maybe an action pose.

Here's a really quick sketch to show you what I'm on about, and an older drawing for some reff, and the Fable 2 cover for inspiration.

So if you want to have a play round Grandma, be my gest!

i know what you mean im have'n a hard time to i almost want to make them more realistic but i like the cartoon idea
i think that it will be ok as long as the're all presented in the same way i think the important part is just make'n the characters' even major companies have different style artist'
i think its ok but i also think once we have all the characters we can narrow the styles down a bit as well'

edit what i saw from the TF2 ex is that they where simple shapes w/ a kinda realistic lighting i haven't pushed one to that piont yet but i think i can get closer
