Im not sure where to take this next, I know I can push it further im just unsure how. Any suggestion greatfully received.

Nice! I am liking the colors a lot. Oh, and before I forget,
ALL HAIL GRANDFATHER NURGLE.

Okay, the muzzle flash on the bolter is really fading out, it should be more vibrant and violent. Your also loosing a lot of color below the waist. I suggest highlighting it in green like you did on the left.
If for no other reason than to show some more detail.
