Hello everyone,

I thought it would be a good idea to start a sculpture resource thread because I think all of us would benefit from it from it. It'll save a lot of questions that are often asked, from types of clay to where to look for inspiration. Basically anything to do with sculpture. So, in this thread we could chip in our links of:

It officially a 'lazy susan' for putting your snack bowls / condiments on, but i'll be using it for spinnin' my sculpture around to access them from all angles. Hey i was wondering if anyone knew of good and bad brands of airbrushes.. or are they all about a much of a muchness?

was thinkn of buying a dual action airbrush with compressor +tank for 284 $au

Hi Raumer, I'm not sure about the price but there is a make of airbrush called Aztec which is brilliant. I used to do a lot of airbrush illustration before going digital and have used, tried, tested and own loads of different airbrushes over the years. However the Aztec range are basic, really simple, and easy to use, well priced and very robust. I've had mine for about ten years and it's still going strong. I've sprayed most things through it and can't recommend it highly enough. What I will say is whatever one you get is to always be in the habit of Keeping it clean and never let paint dry inside it.

I also liked my Aztec air brushes, but my all time workhorse was an Iwata hp-bc. Great gun, but like all airbrushes must be cleaned constantly for the best performance. I haven't cranked those babies out in years...always loved pulling the friscit off a painting and see it come alive...memories...
