I want to understand human anatomy like you do. Everything you create has such incredible energy, probably because of the line personality, but mostly because of how eerily realistic it is. I just love all of your artwork, and I hope that one day I'm able to produce artwork at this level.

Hey Janaschi,

Great stuff. One thing with the first image which I find very interesting is that my first reaction to it was that it makes me feel very disorientated. Whether that was your purpose or not I find that extremely interesting concept. I feel I am forced to turn my head to my left

Nice to see kid portraits as well.
As I am learning I'm noticing more things so I came up with a question. Do you mostly use quite cool color palette and is that a conscious or unconscious choice?

It was painted the other way but in the end I found out it looks more interesting when its rotated - cheap trick, I know

Ah and I used to use very bright and saturated colors when I started painting, now I mostly prefer a subtle color palette

but it depends on my mood!
