wow really breathtaking work, the paintings are just immaculate, congratulations on your scholarship, really well deserved obviously, if I can reach half your level in a couple of years I'd be happy seriously.

i too can't get my face quite right; i always have more chances with other people than myself xD

the photo studies have great lighting and strokes
do you blend at first and then go all hard with your detailed brush or how do you do it?
because it seems to me as you don't play with the opacity at all, nor dose it look like set to other dynamics..

Amazing Line Art! Ich hatte auch im digitalartforum die "kleinere" Galerie gesehen. Was hat es mit diesen mehrarmigen/beinigen Sketches auf sich? Ist das bei dir und algenpfleger zum Üben, wie der Arm in verschiedenen Posen aus diesem Blickwinkel an dem so gestreckten Körper aussehen würde?

Your pieces always have well rendered yet very sharp look which I think gives em the likeness to life.

Jana, I would ask you to have my babies so they could be as talented as you are (and teach ME some by proxy) but

And congrats on the scholarship! I'm sure your experience at TAD will greatly benefit you, though I think if you get any better, then your legion of fans on CA will explode from your skill O_O

Jana: I sadly do not think the new updates are good enough and need alot of work. You should put MORE practice in.

HAHAHAHAAHAHAHA Just kidding and great stuff indeed!!! I really like the way the commissioned work is coming out. Be sure to teach those folks at the art school a trick or two for all of us who lack some. Keep up the good work girl!

I'm just amazed by the level of your work. It's absolutely incredible.

In your sketches, your lines are bold and varied. You just sketch a single line down and capture all the nuances of the form. How did you achieve this level of line quality? What sort of exercises would you recommend for someone trying to accomplish the same?

On that note, can you show more of your lineart sketches? I find them really interesting and helpful.
