deep deep love from the depth of my heart to you snobby and maerrick

and @maerrick, i do them pretty fast, to say a number 3-5 min. i try to improve lines and my eyes.

i figured out weekends is a bad time for updating^^ to much going on, not working a lot. see it as a timeout, i guess sometimes i just need some breaks

good news, my cough is away, after 4weeks ...already thought its something serious Oo
    C&C alwys welcome

    sketches,quick selfportrait

wanted to upload a page of storyboard, senseless, i think you can´t figure out anything, and that´s the problem! anyhow here we go

citysketches, i´m finally happy with one the right one is fine, i´ll push the policedepartment more to the ground and give the surrounding skyscrapers some famous brands. message: the economy(interests) is higher than police/ justice - AWESOME

remember the policecar? didn´t liked it and did something new.
drawing cars always remembers me at school, scribbling around with a friend, he was good but never managed to take some time and sit down to practice. good times

littlebit of workover and i am happy with it.

digital studies: monument in ex-juguslavia, ww2 related.

gosh, hit the ground with this image. spent around 1 1/2 hours on it, arranging colours and stuff. i really like the overall form but i did something wrong. well keep working on it.

moreover it was a little bit out of perspective even in the pencil sketch, didng´t fixed it, even worse now.

and a portrait study...elsa pataky or something like that was her name.

i really suck at protraits, thanks jakob(jatherip, he is the devil!) i felt awesome till i spoke with you

Hi! Nice to see you study so much. This is the only way to get better, no technique or special pencil will make you advance except for dedicated thoughtful practice.

For your environments with 2 point perspective in them, you might want to separate the 2 points a little bit farther. As in this image the perspective is very warped because of how close the two points are. If you distance them, it will look more realistic and less squished. Also if you're working from greyscale to color, you might want to overlay the whole image with one or two colors first instead of having select places with color. The grey still in your image makes it look lazy. Dark areas you could fill with blues, purples, etc. No dark place is pure black or pure grey. There's a color to everything.

I like the policecar concept you made a couple posts above. Totally scream Blade Runner, maybe because it looks almost exactly like the police spinners in the film.

Keep up the good work and draw draw draw!

    Hey,

I really like your work in #383. Try adding more colour to the whole picture itself so the mood is reinforced. Especially the lighting in the background could really look cool with some warmer lights from outside.

Good luck with your Game design in Germany. I'm sure you'll get in!

mila, thanks alot, you´re right, that would have looked better. i shoud try that out

@tawnos: naja, vermute mal ich bereite mich garnicht drauf vor und mach einfach mal weiter wie bisher.

visited friends last week, loading the batteries
now i´m back, i have bought a boook by vanderpoel - following are studies from it.

furthermore a portrait with acrylics and with oil(nun) oil is so much easier to work with, except cleaning everything sucks hard!
nothing digital, i sat enough in front of my pc in the last weeks, really enjoy painting on canvas(paper )

I did not make it to berlin, and i don´t want to talk to much about it. had to do that with everyone since noone of my friends could understand why the did not choose me
(well they have no idea about art and the industry, just like me, but they know even less)
fact: i did not make it in there since i failed in the interview. i´ll take this as an experience of high value! this was my first real interview ever.

next aim, internships and searching for alternate opportunities. a pity since i know 100% that studying there is what i am aiming for.
plus i have so much fun developing "slot5" with my friends, this is the field i want to work in one day.

my friend told me about his experience while being a (american) football player in his youth.
They did an exercise: somersault on the ground, grabbing a ball and run till the end of the field. well, he never managed to do a somersault.
He tried and failed, lying in the grass. The coach came absolutley mad!
my fried tried to explain, he is not able make a somersault, but the coach was angry and shout: I DONT GIVE A SHIT IF YOU CAN DO THAT; NOT EVERYBODY IS ABLE TO DO A SOMERSAULT; BUT WHY DON`T YOU JUST GRAB THE BALL AND RUN?

very cool coach, so why don´t i just grab the ball and run

    studies vanderpoel.
