You've got some nice skills bud - I especially like the feel of the last 2 little environments. The values are awesome and they have a painterly look to them. Are these straight from reference...modified looking at the reference for a starting point? I practice a lot of landscapes but I'm not good with color, so it would be nice if you stopped by one day Ill be watching

Well, we all hope you feel better. You might not be religious, and I don't know what you are going through, but I'm praying for you man.

Excellent updates, love the portrait and the landscapes are very "emotional". Not to be confused with Fall Out Boy.

Well... That's not what I meant. Just kidding a little... ^^ But if you want it to be grammatically correct it should be 'I hörde there's a flicka who lives under världen'. You don't really need 'the' because the 'en' at the end of världen would be the same thing as 'the' in Swedish 'Hördes' also means 'was heard'

wookiedabo- Thanks, I am working hard to figure them out.

    courtyard
    - Good, you deserve them. I would say that painting is exactly like my real life watercolors, so I am pleased.

sketcheth- Thank you, I hope it is interesting. I am happy that people are into it.

    Noro
    - Thanks Noro, I am stalking you too.

dwardo- I have given away my secrets, the border helps clean them even though I can't draw straight lines.

Jakers- Thanks, some are kind of referenced and some are made up. I like to control my colors though, low saturated blues, greens and purples. I will check out your book, I think I have a few ideas that might help.

Shadow Stalker- Thanks man, I appreciate that. I hope it works. The only Fallout boy I know is searching for the water chip.

    The Rhyth

"Throughout the reign of the Talurian Empire in the West- sightings of the Rhyth were almost unheard of. However, in the time since the Occupation was overcome and the invaders pushed into the sea, a small number of Rhyth, those curious or possessed of wanderlust, have trickled back into the Westlands.

Rhyth have dark brown skin, blue eyes and black or white hair. (White hair is common in young as well as old amongst Rhyth)"

Wow Collywobbles, these updates are incredible. They look effortless from your hand, like you actually had fun painting these...damn you! Are those textures created in photoshop or do you scan in some traditional textures?

Your b&w portraits and linework are great. Also like the mood in your landscapes. Don't know, but if you think you are better with watercolors just use watercolors?! I would like to see some.

Randomly came across you book and took a look around. Really nice work in here. Enjoyed all of your figure work. Nice loose and expressive lines.

The Stuff you've been experimenting with Alchemy has come out really well too.

Im in secondary school and everytime in P.E. i got detention for taking too long to get changed,
so I now go outside without my shoes on, and put them on outside to avoid getting into trouble,
BUT NOW THE KIDS MAKE FUN OF ME, TELLING ME TO PUT MY SHOES ON QUIKER,
    SAYING THAT MY FEET STINK,
WHEN IM CLOSER TO ME FEET THAN THEY ARE AND I CANT SMELL A THING!

    AvisNocturna- Thanks a lot man.

Jason Ross- Usually they are just a combination of texture brushes and concret photos or something, with trial and error layer modes.

Gib- Thanks, I am trying to improve my digital skills for work. As soon as I fix my scanner I will post some watercolours.

    Chupacabra- Fuckin thanks!

    MacTire- Thanks, I will try.

    GunTrouver
    - Thank you, I really like people's faces.

AphexTweak- I appreciate that, I wish i could spend more time in Alchemy, there are so many options.

Shadow Stalker- Thanks man, I don't think I am really qualified though.

    courtyard
    - Thank you as always. I am screwed up but I am trying to keep this thing going.
Haha, Edgar does look silly like that, I was too lazy to draw the whole thing.

Yanko- Thanks. I don't speak French very well but I appreciate that.

    dU5K
    - Thanks dude. Sorry it takes so long, I am having some issues.

    luness
    - Thank you Luness, I am low in that department as well.

    Collywobbles
    - You are awesome!

Suira- Thanks, I must learn more French.

    bahahaha ... self ass-pats ... that's great ...
    update Mr Wobbles.

And I still don't get it.
Why are you trying to avoid lining?
For a more painterly approach? Obviously right, or am I missing something?

Well, fi you ask me, all the moods of these I really dig.
And yes to showing the process.
I'm always down for that, or better yet, livestream.com it. [If you've not done so, and are interested. ] I could even make the account for you just to save you the hassle.
