    Hello everyone! I will be an illustration major at SVA this coming fall... to start thing's off, here are some pieces from my portfolio! More to come.

    Here are a couple of sketches... the first was inspired by Vinculus from Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, he's sort of how I envision a young Vinculus.

    Great start to your sketchbook, Chief! I'm impressed with your watercolor handling. Those character designs are looking good so keep up with the drawing.

    Thanks KidApe! Some of those paintings are actually guache, which I find a lot easier / more fun to handle

    Here's a piece I did last year. It was really an experimentation in process: I was reading about lithographs, and was inspired to break down the drawing into its respective colors, so I did all the different colors of line work and fills on separate sheets of paper and combined them in PS.

    I agree with the last two comments, the pencil character illustrations are really nice and have great depth and volume. Anatomy and faces could use some work though, overall great though.
