Hi man ! Well, from what i've seen there are some good points here ! there is just a few things that i wanna talk about . On your last faces studies, i think you're nothing thinking enough about the perspective ! and this is the same in some parts of your characters ! i guess until you have solid constructions and proportions on your characters, i find that it's not interesting to render them on photoshop ! you can only work with line until you have a decent understanding of human being and of armors, etc, and you can still practice rendering through studies ! third, i find that your values doesn't describe well the forms you're painting ! but it's not only a matter of values, it's also about edges ! so i suggest you to study only in b&w for about 2 months, and then come back with colors too, because it seems you can pick up the right colors, but have hard times with values ^^

Here is what i had to say,you can take it or leave it ^^

But anyway,i think you're on the right path ! keep it up !

My oh my! Those 2 latest pictures are really over your previous works.
Congratulations my friend, you've just gained a level....*doing*

I've a small suggestion for you, try establishing your palette with some soft brush, just a few variations, and then work it out with brush that has no pen pressure to it. Just the " thick" strokes.
Maybe you'll find that way of painting to fit your taste.

I've found a woman painting that way, and boy oh boy i love her style.

Thanks ice I feel I'm getting better at understanding of light and color as I practice.
Her style is amazing and you know? my art teacher said: "with enough practice and hard work you can do a masterpiece with a piece of charcoal"
And hey you know what he's right doesn't matter what choice of techniques you go for or style, given enough practice and work you can reach anything you want in any way you want.
I figured out this is my game and I will achieve what I want in this way or the other the style will eventually come by itself but hey it's always good to try new things and constantly evolve.

Pickles makes me want to eat them. Looks good the painting.
Did you eat them in the end?
Startrek painting, looks pretty realistic, you just know how
to put colors together. Contrast is also a huge factor that makes it
    look so good I think.
Head study is done nicely. Is this Michael Jackson?

Thanks LtPlissken, no I did not eat the pickles at the end but I did cut two of them in small pieces and made a tuna salad with them
Regarding the head study it is not Michael Jackson it's just a study of a girl which is way off therefor I decided to improve my heads by starting my quest for 100 heads!

got only 3 so far might wanna rethink on how long I spend on each one so I can finish them this year, 97 more to go

Try using a few more hard edges in your paintings. I notice especially in the
pickle jar painting, it feels like the lid should be shinier.

"Thanks LtPlissken, no I did not eat the pickles at the end but I did cut two of them in small pieces and made a tuna salad with them"

The tiles should be shiny (unless they're very dusty/dirty). Reflections?

Much stronger shadows on the unlit side of her body.
The lighting in general needs to be much stronger...make a diorama?

This is actually a very dark and harsh lighting scheme. Get some reference
for that. (again, maybe a diorama)

Brush-strokes are making everything look kind of lumpy. Polish, try to keep
your lines clean. Don't use unnecessary extra or small strokes.

Water on her skin? Gloss skin (like she's all wet?)

Some blood somewhere in the image...maybe?

    What is the murder weapon?

    REF REF REF

EDIT: composition, anatomy. etc all look good
sketchbook...a kitten dies every time you don't comment

BludHund Thanks mate these are all good pointers, appreciate your help!

More progress on the chow, trying to add more dramatic lighting and more colors, color study after this chow full time for me... I feel my colors are so bad, I mean how can I paint something that I don't fully understand, gotta study my butt out of it.
Fixed her head to bring some purpose to her posing this way she looks more content with what she's done, blood and knife and all that to come not worried about the little fx at the moment gotta get the overall impact right, the values...and those colors oh the colors... arggghhhh
