Hi, loving those headgear designs. I think the viewpoint is a bit confusing in the tank/mech sketch. It's not clear whether the tank is going down hill or the carrier on an upward slope, or if the horizon is tilted at about 30* and they're both on level ground. It's a bit like those places where people think stuff rolls uphill, but it's really an illusion because the trees are growing at an odd angle.

Automatic cigarette lighter is cool :o

Nice updates! I would suggest doing some more anatomy studies and try to think in 3D space while doing them

Good work on the pine-apple *_* I always avoided that fruit in my still lives
Must be quite a challenge to paint that without pressure sensitivity.

Thanks Sushy, heck yeah it was really challenging and I had this annoying feeling that I am not supposed to do this but that only means that I am stepping out of my comfort zone.

Nice updates! It's awefully hard to paint something without opacity and pressure sensitivity – Especially when you're facing gradients. So, nice work on the Pineapple!

Your faces are also improving, keep it up

Hey man good to see studies n such, try and be a lot more confident with your separation of light and dark on your portraits, you will find a lot more solidity in your portraits and it should be applied to everything else really

    Icecold you're too kind

ecki thanks mate, it's a constant struggle, painting that life painting felt completely out of my comfort zone, awkward feeling, gotta get more of those awkward feelings!

TFsean Thank you for the advice

elvish helmet designs, I am not so happy with most of the designs some have potential but I figured that I can train my mind to design better, gotta spend some time looking into different helmet and armor variations and see what I can come up with after my research.

kingkostas Thanks bro, I think I did like only like 2 or 3 of those designs, I feel like I am stuck to certain shapes and can't get out of it, gotta do some different shape studies I guess.

V3T Thanks, slowly but getting there

lionheartGFX thanks for the advice, this was definitely an exploration phase, will do a lot more of these.

nice updates! im noticing you are a bit afraid of going too dark with your values and going to strong with your colors. iv actually giving this advice out a lot lately. dont be scared of going darker or stronger, when you do studies it is helpful to color pick, youll be surprised at what colors are actually being used and it will help you in choosing the correct color next time. just pay attention to the colors and if you do color pick its meant to help you see whats there so dont make it a habit otherwise its counterproductive :b

Thanks, the color picking is actually a good tip, I was avoiding it most of the time calling it "cheating"

tried my hand at some caricatures, I have this old book from 1984 laying around figured I give it a shot, its fun and teaches you to put closer attention to facial features and their distances and sizes and try exaggerate them.

Your workshop with a very strong fundamentals is still running hard, and the
hard working workers never get tired inside. I saw the light shining through the
window and I said to myself, why shouldn’t I visit. Warm environment is what I have
experienced once again, stepping into this book of awesomeness. You are an ever improver
and your will to becoming a better person is a true example to all of us around you. I need
to do my studies in a more positive way, just as you do. I like the colorful fresh ideas that you
implement in your characters, especially in this last illustration that you posted. Green color
is so good for the eyes and for the liver. I also see that you’ve experimented with contrast
and blurring the background, so you could make the focal point more obvious on certain areas of
the painting. I think that you are doing a very good job. Also doing greyscale paintings from
time to time is an excellent idea, cause you are keeping your values on the right track and sharp
enough for the audience. Bright sunlight is what you have created for us, and a happier future
overall. Thanks for sharing all this, I wish you to paint more and to post more, share your
knowledge and share your true inner self. Be good and stay healthy.

Thanks for reminding about edges, I tend to forget about them and only remember them at the end

More client stuff, seems like this project going to keep me busy for quite awhile and even might turn into a full time position which is awesome, if everything goes smoothly I will be able to leave my boring photography job and freelance full time and when that happens life will be sweeter , "crossing fingers"
