Nice sketchbook going. I especially love the inventive architecture. Big fan of animation, especially the drawn stuff.

Wow! you've got quite a lot of dynamism in your figures! I really enjoy watching your stuff from subway observation!! Oh and also I love that red car study you did! hehe was somewhat difficult to distinguish the real one and the painted one at the beginning. Well, your sketchbook just inspires me to work with some things! Thank you for posting on my sketchbook by the way!![]()

Wow! Ur lineworks just sick! Totally love ur subway sketches! keep going!
available for freelance/long term job
Hey man,
Great drawing skills! Love the green troll and your character sketches.
Cheers RBeek - It's the thought that counts ^_^.
renlok & Camara - ThanksExpressions are my favorite thing to draw. I love faces.
ClaretCrab - Hearing my lines are good is a big confidence boost, I've been trying to get better.
Mike_butkus - Thanks for that
Today's update has some classic bic-pen subway sketches and a cleaned version of the sketch from a couple posts ago.
just a quicky today - bic + a new marker![]()
nice sketches
very cartoony
Thanks Tantoco!
Here's the last one for a little while- gotta go get hitched on saturday, going to cut into my sketching time
There will be airplane sketches when I get back! (fron in the plane... not of the plane...)
Bic pen and markers.
each time I visit this sketchbook I get motivated to drop my schoolwork and get back to drawing!
Amazing studies on the animals Rhubix and especially on the horses !
I really like the strong personality in your characters ... nice work!
"It's nothing really, all in a days work for us bicycle repair men"
everytime i look at this sb i just know everyone looks like a characture in real life
Keep up the good stuff i rly enjoy watching ur sketches! Cheers!
Very good work, I love your stuff and it's extremely inspiring.
Keep up the good work!
hey there!
awesome sketchboook!
I like your environment thumbnails, I think you should take one and turn it into a painting.
and I absolutely love the cartoons, they're so good! the lines and movement, really well done.
TomDeVis - I don't know if I should discourage that behavior.... for me school was always put aside to draw and my teachers and parents always discouraged me.Eventually I went to a school where all we did was draw and it became my job.
Funny thing is, now my nephew and niece love to draw (so not my fault.....) My sister doesn't discourage them one bit. score 1 point for us!
shambok - ThanksI'm glad I'm doing something right.
RBeek - I live by that! The subway is the best place to find all kinds of people. You get everyone from 3 piece suits to sketchy hobos, hipsters, fashonistas, slovenly fat folks and here in Toronto, every ethnicity and ethnic combo you can name. - I love it. It's like sketch book candy!
dracken- Thanks. I don't have a story to go with that...
Voodoo_Mama - Thanks for all that- I havn't done a real background painting since background painting class.... sounds like a challenge. I'll put it on the todo list
onto the update- I've been lax on posting because I went and got myself married last weekend
![]()
All back to normal now though so here's a sketch dump done with my trusty bic. I should get some more finishedy typed things up now that I'm not busy with wedding things.
Your pencil sketches got great lines.
Very smooth
Try to do some still lifes too.
They help everybody so much.
I think a lot of people are understimating them.
Anyways, keep going!
Those little animal sketches are amazing!
I like your style and I think your cartoony work would really benefit from some more anatomy studies!
thanks Valoo and ElPolloso many studies - so little time >.<
I think I avoid still lifes because at work I draw bazillions of props. Guns, paint cans, cutlery, food, more food... so much food.... by the end of the day all I want to do are goofy faces lol. I'll have to get over that.
Anyways here's a little change of pace, not much but subway sketches lately, a rough sketch of a background. - Clean up and painting are in the to-do pile.
Awesome updates! So much life and flow in the drawings. Keep posting! Really useful to see how you draw from life with your own style.
thanks for commenting on my SB,
you have some great progress here, there are some really nice digital pieces on page 5 and your characters are full of emotion, good job!
MY sketchbook>>>http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=219828
Thanks Mitchoo and Joe
Here's today's update- some character doodles and an onion... cuz everybody likes onions.
Never thought I'd be saying "nice onion" but hey, first time for everything.
The characters look interesting, like the bloke with the headphones, he had a good slouch, but the guy on the far right seems off balance, his shoulders look a bit wonky to me.
As always your SB is a great source of inspiration. Awesome amount of work and I love your clean, strong lines so much.
It's also great to see some life studies (I assume the onion is a life study)
No critique or advice, just keep up the good work![]()
That looks like one tasty onion! I made some studies on your doodles on my sketchbook, hope you don't mind!
